Hi there,i just got myself a CBR 900 which is very gd condition.I am thinking of changing the front rim so as i could have more better choice of tyre,i heard that the front rvf rim sits in preferly on the 900.Anybody heard or have done this modification???

hee hee hee..i juz swapped out the nsr250r/se rim for the cbr400rr rim..

the curvature of the tyre is less acute now, performance/behaviour wise i'll update soon. =D

I swaped mine(rrw) front rim by using rvf rim b4, it juz fit nicely n juz need some spacer/washer . what ur bike model ? :thumb:

thanx guyz...i heard from Sin Boon bikeshop too that must use a rvf front rim but if i add spacers then the width of the rim must be different from the back,mm..does this effect the cornering??...must check my model wif my log-book..let u guys know.

Nope, i tin rrw model will fit the rvf rim nicely n other older model like rrp wilf fit CBRL model loh...

mayb u can go Planet motor help u to fix up cos ah chong done it b4...:thumb:

er..no idea L, N or R.. the rim came from another cbr900rrt, i only know tt it came from a cbr400rr originally, and it goes in nicely.
