Just buy a 'all rider' insurance lor... so that everyone can be sub rider... I will be in the first queue...

haha..my bike in workshop lehz...getting new paintwork (old one stickers getting sun-damaged plus suffered a fall) and some "ho liao"...

 

so i guess i'll ride it out from the workshop myself when i get back ;)

 

thanks for offering to help me take care of my bike anyways :p

hi guys,

 

I am thinking of getting a 919 & i have found the following deal at one of the shops, so seeking the advise of u guys to see what are the things that i should check for for the condition of the bike & whether the price is right.....

 

Plate : FP2**5T ( Maybe u guys knows the history of the bike)

Paint : Orange black repsol design

 

machine price : 3200 (inclusive of 6 mths rd tax;chain & spocket;necessary servicing-i taking this wif a pinch of salt)

BT 014/020 tyres : 300

agreement fee : 580 (cos the shop is selling for owner so they wan to earn this amount)

Transfer & additional 6 mths rd tax : 224

2nd party insurance : 643

Interest : 6%

Need to pay GST : $346.29

 

everything is stock.......

 

The engine sounds good......solid sound......didn't hear anything loose in the engine.......

 

Wat u guys think?

FP plate = 1997 model ?

hmm so u would be paying like $5k OTR. sounds OK to me if the engine is in good condition. do check out the forks for leaking, and also the rear suspension. (if too soft means its spoilt)

should be a good buy then if the fork n rear shock is still strong.

if u decide to buy, and want to push the bike to the limit, i suggest u get a 17" rim. handles better at high speeds and also gives u a wider choice of tyres. :cheeky:
