Btw the durian farm at that location feature a big durian icon at the entrance and it is rather expensive, think mainly cater for visitors not local. If buying alot then has to go upcountry.

oic, one of the guys coming along also need to attend his company's Family Day function. He leaving the waterfall at 12pm something i guess.

Anyway, you also have GPS, i am sure you can leave anytime & find yr way back. :smile:

hopStick;3039740']I think this trip is suitable for ya. As its roughly 50km one way. Total mileage covered perhaps around 100+km? Its like from pasir ris to tuas and tuas to pasir ris.

 

Sounds good. Let me know when u r going again. If schedule permits, I will join you guys for the "exploration" trip. :cheeky:

we meeting at GP esso 8.30am on this Sat, 7/7/2007. Then proceed to Kulai town for breakfast, then go search for the 1st waterfall. After that go to the second waterfall (below) for swim. Lunch probably in Pontian, then search for the Pontian Durian Farm.

I think we found a good plae for the durian....

 

cause i was told that the market price for good durian in johor is about

 

RM$4 - 5 per kg... (except "D" series or branded durian)

 

about at segamat i was told that the price for durian for dealer who go to

 

the durian farm to buy the durian for the malay farmer is about RM$1 - 2

 

and sell at RM$4 - 5

 

which mean that we have got the dealer price if wat i hear is true.....

Yup, seems that there's lots of durian farms at Kulai's Kg rahmat area, but dunno where the owners.

Lucky to find that malay owner. RM$2 per kg is cheap, but if too little people eat, the bill come only

Is this place easy to reach?

I am using Garmin Que, unable find the place when using the GPS coodinates which provided by you ( N01.67310,E103.50358 ) ??

the place is not on the gps map...

 

it is a malay kanpong....

 

it is N01* 40.386m E103* 30.215m (N01.67310,E103.50358)

 

if u look at ur mapsource u will only find that it is next to the Hwy 1 senai - yongpeng

 

go there by hwy 1 will be the fastest

yup , its not in the malsing maps, but good roads are there to lead you there.

One day when you happen to go kulai makan, do drop in there & see see.

what should we plan next .............

why not try to visit the Elephant and the Seladang sanctuary at Kuatan..definetely worth the visit...

 

Kampong TT at Negeri Sembilan is fun

Labis Hot Spring is also a cool place to go around Johor State...

Gunung Belumut Waterfall is also not bad....

Why not try go to Umbai Seafood Makan Place... something like Lau Pa Sat.

Gunung Ledang Waterfall is also recommended.

Bukit Kepong is also recommnded to go there find out the history behind that place.

Desaru Pengerang good place for Seafood.

Tanjung Piai at Kukup is also not bad.

Keluang Railway Station there is a shop that makes good kopi ice and toasted bread.

Satay Kajang is also not bad...

errr this is so far what i remember..good luck and have fun.

 

those more adventourous can go and find a Firefly Resort and Safari Drive just like South Africa animal roam freely...

 

Afamosa is a fun place to hang out and stay...

Anyone interested in making a 2D1N trip to Cameron Highland on this coming weekend (15th and 16th Sep)? Currently me and one of my friend is very keen to kick off by touring to Cameron Highland, but both of us don't know the way and this is like our frist trip. So thought of asking any lao jiao whom may be interested in joining this trip on the coming weekend. Do PM me if anyone is interested. Cheers.
