The yellow on the xciting seems to give dual look.

 

Good lighting 1 color poor lighting another color lol.....

 

Anyway Bros, can someone share what they think is the best method to run-in the bike? Follow service manual or use methods listed in the web? I came across a method asking us to run-in HARD!!!! Dunno if I wanna try anyway too late already cross the most impt 35Km. :giddy:

 

I would enjoy the best moments with the scooter. I chose the traditional method, finding new routes and makan places in Singapore.

If I didn't surf on the Taiwan forum I won't have known abt recall for parts replacement at all man

Please be informed that the above article is not a recall but an improvement made to the Xciting 400i. It does not pose any danger to our riders if they do not change it. As the changing of the part will take 1/2 a day, Motor Sport will need to schedule the 1st batch of Xciting 400i owners to get it changed.

 

You may also want to contact us at 67496717 to set an appointment to change the mounting.

Kongfu : ride the bike normally will do... try changing the EO before it hits the mileage for servicing... your X400i will serve you well. ...

I can't really feel any difference cos most of the time I don't corner hard enough due to having pillion. Also my suspension are showing signs of wear. I need to upgrade my suspension.

Hmmmm.... I suddenly tot it wud be ideal for me to take the conventional route to my office instead of using the highway. Otherwise I have to stick to the leftmost lane and play catching up when the commercial vehicles are away from me and slowing down when I ctach up with them so I dun maintain my RPM. Too bad I cant go next door otherwise the bike wud have break-in earlier lol...

Normally??? I normally dun go below 110 on de e way wor!!! No matter wat I know we cant maintain the rpm for too long so my normal riding habit cant fit for breakin-in la.....

 

I want my engine to b as good as it can b lor so I will b worry free and love the scoot for as long as I can lol.....On a side note, any idea or can u pls help find out how heavy is our stock bar end cap each piece? Was thinking of chaning to de rizoma cap but I scare it will be too light and might generate more vibration.....

Yes the yellow definately looks chio. If you don't have a history of bike claims and above 30 years young then you can safely get the scooter about $12600 but still got to depend on the COE. If it goes up then price will go also goes up.

 

Best if you can go there take a look see look see. At the same time check out the handsome Bike Yong. If you want more questions answered come to the gathering.

Well, I will just share how I do my break in.

 

-I change my EO at 500km (Mineral), 1000km (Semi) and lastly 1500km (Fully).

-Never speed above 100km/h.

-Ride in places where I need to stop most often.

 

Everyone's break in method differs. I am always sticking to this method coz I love my engine. haha.

Bro, the pricing varies with a lot of factors like COE and Insurance. I would suggest that you come down to take a look and let us quote you on the spot to avoid any misunderstandings.

 

Basically the bike has got no problems. pick up to 100km/h is about 8 secs. FC depends on your riding style. Lowest I got is 21km/L whereby move off with full blast most of the time. The best I got was 27km/L with gentle riding. Bike is very agile due to its weight. Very comfortable to ride.

Lol...That's about the same method as I'm using lor difference is I dun go beyond 90kmh ....

Twist and let go after a while and twist again on the e way.

 

Herbert ask me to change eo 800km, 1600km and 3000km. This is something interesting. I dont mind changing more EO but your break-in last 1500km while Herbert version last 3000km. Please tell me which is supposed to b better for the bike? 1500km or 3000km break-in?

Yes got very big problem with the scooter that Kymco Sg does not bring this earlier when COE was low.

 

AOB go down to Motorsport look for the handsome Bike Yong he should be able to advise you...

Ya, got 1 problem. A guy who owns Myroad700 says Xciting 400i too powerful for 400. I was like huh? 700 not powerful meh?
