For those who got money but dont know where to spend LOL! Just kidding.

Old man can't see clearly at night so need a brighter bulb. Brighter (50% more than standard) thus shine further (20m more than standard).

It's always better to have a proper wattage bulb that is better than standard.

Brighter and better light throw is a very good investment.

Hi everyone, I can't find a comparison between the 300 & 400. May I know what are the differences (if any) between the two models?

Be careful when u used higher powered bulb. I am using xenon ring bulb with 50% additional light throw. The headlight plastic starts to show some discoloration.

Yep. Dont say I didnt warn you guys. It happened after I changed the supposingly better n stronger light throw. I presume its same wattage as stock but the bulb design focus the light throw n more heat onto the headlight plastic.

From the spec seems it's the same spec as the original so it shouldn't overload the existing system. I had been using Osram and Philips product for a long time and I got no problem with that. I only got 1 problem after installing I need to readjust the aim due to the longer throw.

When I tried to change to a brand less one with the higher wattage in the end had to change the whole wire harness. The first to go is the rectifier wires then the headlight wires. Both melted and I ended stranded in the middle of no where.

Just go for reputable brands.

Cheers.

Specs can be same. But the technology applied is different. Sunlight is everywhere n is harmless to human skin. When u put sunlight thru a magnifying glass onto a match stick. What happened? I have used alot brands of bulbs on my other bikes too. From osram, philps, hid, bi xenon hid etc. Never faced any problem. I am just sharing what has happened to my scooter since u guys are gg to try a bulb somewhat like mine.

My bike is 2 years old n at 45000km. If you have used all those bulbs n clocked similar mileage like mine. Then ok. But if you have just changed only, then its a different story?

I agree with your statement.

know what you are changing to is most important.

HIGH power bulbs ONLY will ruin your headlight reflector & connectors

Pay attention to the brand and the packaging it states.

having said that,

Philips & Osram are the 2 biggest OE makers bulbs for Cars/Bikes.

Their own aftermarket bulbs are ECE regulated.

They will have to be responsible for their own products.

To be fair, you have to know the brand & quality make of your ride as well.

Cheers
