Both works just fine. Done side after a while you need to reapply it.

Hi Bro,

I am intending to purchase a 2nd hand 300i Xciting and I tried but cant find much info on the bike... more infor was found for 300i downtown, not exciting, dont know why.

 

Anyone can share any useful link on 300i Xciting for its review, usual faults, etc?

Also, for the 2nd hand bike that i intending to buy, i noticed that there is some trottering sound at low rpm from the belt/auto gearbox section (left side below pillion), is that normal? The sound comes either on acceleration or deceleration when the rpm of the rear wheel is approaching slow speed like 10kmh.

 

pls share any info or advice on this model, thanks in advance

Of the 1 year owning that bike i din have any problem with it. Of cos not fogetting its new. Fc is between 28 to 30km/l depending on how u ride.

 

I dunno wat trottering sound u referring to but mine when idling theres this soud cause by the u-shoe...once change back to normal again...

 

Are u buying from shop or direct owner? Maybe can ask wat dat sound is and see wat reply u receive. If from shop, they shd b able to rectify it ba...

Its from direct seller. Yes, i agree hard to understand the source of the sound by descriptions. Tried to record the sound but its not obvious after recording. Owner not sure the source or reason for the sound too. But he just did the servicing, which includes the belt and U-clip/shoe.

The Xciting 400 ABS is here too!

 

How much is the Xciting 400 ABS and the Xciting 200 OTR?

 

I haven't ride for almost 3 decades since my last Ninja 400 in the 80s!

I am planning to go Class 2 soon too!

Do you find your levers too long? I found it too long, in fact it was longer than the balancer thus protruding out like a sore thumb. Motorsport had brought in these aftermarket universal shortie levers for our scooters. Below is the installed. More details drop by Motorsports.
