dear all 400I exciting friends. just collected my bike today. just a few questions to ask

 

1) why does the fan always on? and a lot of hot air at the right side. is it normal? my temperature is one and half bar.

2) why is there lots of burning smell? is it because it's new?

3) at what speed must I maintain for run in?

- Yes cos it's still new enjoy the newness smell.

- Try to ride below 4k rpm. If possible avoid riding single speed. Varies your rpm.

Its normal during run in. It'll get better after you run in de bike...

I remember that I also had this little red LED onto my DownTown 300i ABS, and I am pretty sure that its right there in the center of my Xc abs rev counter... but from beginning It doesn't light up.

I would like to do a little research myself before I drop this question @ my local dealer.

Now I am sure that the difference between ABS and NONE ABS is the little red led onto center 'rev counter' needle.

I havent really notice mine in de past. But when i rode it in de evening just now, i dont see any red dot.

That was my first step to finally find the proper route, so nothing new

 

My first contact with (dimotiv6376) was based on Ebay, (dimotiv6376) is Dimotiv.

It's same contact/people as the mail address I already given to you.

 

Tip:

Don't buy Dimotiv Foot-board steps, but choose Kymco OEM.

All other Dimotiv mods are Ok.

 

meanwhile I have several contacts/routes in Taiwan to get what I want

My next retrofit pimp project is on the way and just shipped to me:

I can't find the LED onto Xc wiring diagram, but on the other hand I also

cant find the LED on the DownTown wiring diagram.

Some very small parts (like these) are not described in wiring diagram
