Suzuki VS400 Intruder

I just bought a VS400 Intruder and I would like to get it restored with a very minimum amount of custom work.

Below are pictures of what I have and what I would like to do only in a dark cherry red.

 

Is there any garages or shops in Singapore that can do this.

no offense. but its such an easy job there.

 

remove your sissy bar, visor headlight(diy)

cut your seat.(eugene saddlery at jalan besar)

change out your bars to drag(is yours 7/8 or 1 inch?)

get clear signals(ebay/ah boy)

get rounded mirrors(ah boy)

 

 

lastly, Get the paintwork done with the radiator cover. 600-/+

Ya some of the stuff is easily done..but I want it done right, custom braided lines, currently I have a pipe on each side so will need a custom exhaust fitted to bring both to the right side. I would like the frame sanded and powder coated so the bike needs to be stripped. The tree on the fork has been neglected a bit so it really needs some attention or even replaced as it is pitted.

 

I use to have a lot of tools and do a lot of my own work on my bikes and cars...but when I moved to singapore and not having a "garage" I gave the to my brother in-law. I am all for DIY but the wife wouldn't like the investment it would take in tools and we have limited space in our condo as it is.

There is guy Ah Ann at Ubi who does quite alot of work for bikes. currently , he his doing 2 suzy intruder 400. you can go over to his shop and give your idea. i am sure he can do a good job. he is at First East Centre,10 Kaki Bukit Road level 3. cant remember the unit but its the first bike shop when u come up from the slope. good luck.

The Shop at 10 Kaki Bukit, is that the Singapore Choppers shop @ 03-02?? If so, I contacted them via their FB page and well..Here's their reply:

 

Singapore Chopper - "Hi James - I am really sorry that I am unable to help you on the customization.On the other hand, I will not be able to introduce you to another shop. Reason being, I do not know their quality. You may want to google around......"

 

So basically, unable to fit me in and no advice on other shops from them!....I'll keep looking.

Need some insight and advice here. I went to get my foot pegs and controls moved forward as I am taller than the last owner. The shop tells me that if I "adjust" the pegs and controls that it will not pass LTA inspection. Is this correct??? I find it very hard to believe that even Singapore would have issue with adjusting your break peddle, shift, and foot pegs for a more comfortable ride.

 

Pipes and Bars Ok..somewhat get that...but pegs????

Does anyone why the fan doesnt work ? When checked they mentioned fan is okay and working fine. N they also mentioned something about a water pump fuse or something that needs to be replaced. Went to a few shops and they dont have stock on the particular part. Please help. Thks

The fan of the intruder is quite loud like a bmw bike. You should be able to hear it turn on at traffic lights.
