We are probably going to need a meeting sometime this/next week to discuss a lot of things. As we are an official NUS society, we need to get things like "code of conduct" etc. down properly.

 

For a start, I we should remove any refernces from our name tag of "chio bu" or similar. This started out as a joke back when we hadn't even thought of the club yet, but now that its a reality we need to change the way things happen.

 

Also we need to work out stuff, like printing club cards (i.e. with the official NUS logo and contact). Also how money will be handled. I'll wait for the President to call for a AGM. I have posted a list of meeting agenda topic in the Club section of our Forum, please contribute to that and do come for the meeting. I suggest the meeting be held at Macs...(halal, no being chased off by police, air con, etc.)

hi people, i must say the way u approach people is rather...interesting. was approached during the matriculation fair and was quite glad someone is taking the initiative to make the club official to the school.

 

erm but one thing, the official forum seems to load very slowly hor?

haha! we din have a choice actually..cos at that pt of time we werent approved yet, so no way i can get a booth inside the hall.. but actually it's better this way? @ least at carpark i can target the rite ppl instead of mass bombing in the hall..

Went to school on Monday and realised that they finally added more parking lots for us at the old admin block. Thank goodness.... Remember last sem when we needed to squeeze and squeeze just to get in/ out of the lots under the ramp. Or park at the car lots cos all lots were full... and get clamped!

yup, even the soil patch is now converted to cement...no more worries of finding our bikes lying on their side when we return... but still waiting for them to improve on the bike parking lots at LT32...the lots are there(near the garden), but un-parkable...haha...

err is there ANY bike parking near LT32???? i have been parking my bike at the carpark so far away (near the science co-op).... then have to walk so far to LT32... and i ALWAYS got lost in science... hahahaha...

ok..ride up the ramp to LT32...there on left side, the garden there, can park 2 bikes... other side ..the exposed carpark... park rite @ corner next to wall...

 

either that or u park @ lt 22...call me for directions when u get there..when's ur classes

and i always park at the garden there against the wall cos the slots are full... it has the bumper thingy and is beside the stairs.... kinda guess it's illegal but always one of the security b4 n he says it's alrite leh....

security says it is alright? i seriously think that there are lack of bike lots in school no matter which fac. (perhaps on only business and the halls) especially now that a lot of construction works are going on, there are a lot of malaysian kup kias by the workers. i can hardly find parking lots in the middle of the day when i go to school man, so i guess illegal parking is sometimes inevitable. just pray that your bike don't get clamped? besides i think as long as u park "relative close" to bike lots and ur bike is not blocking the way of both pedestrian and traffic, i think the securities understand that you had no choice?
