NUSRiders' Dinner cum Bike Wash

 

First up the dinner....

Mane: Seah Im (opp Vivo City)

Masa: 6.30pm

Bila: Friday 12 Feb 2010

 

for those who cant make it for the dinner please proceed to the next portion...

 

Bike Wash....

Mane: Blk 113 Depot Rd (Yuwen's Crib)

Masa: After dinner say 7.45pm-8.00pm

Bila: Same day lar! (which means Friday 12 Feb 2010)

 

The bike wash venue may change to a 5min or less trip to Phyo's Crib which is at Telok Blangah. Will update as soon as there are changes.

 

Any queries pls call/sms Ash. Or can post here. Hope to see you riderz either for dinner or the bike wash!!!

Anyone here knows the procedure of buying a bike from another person?

 

Like how to transfer ownership?

How to activate insurance/Road tax once ownership is transferred?

Must he give the log card for bike to me?

 

I'm quite noob here. Finding a bike here in SBF.

 

Go to LTA at sinming and pay transfer fee. Road tax will be carried over to you. Insurance you have to buy prior to doing the transfer and you have to bring it to LTA. Log card dun need, sekarang semua digital.

 

doing DIY transfer

1) view bike

2) scrutinise bike

3) bargain

4) deposit (not full amount)

5) buy ur insurance

6) LTA do transfer

7) pay full sum

 

alternatively, you can bring to a bike shop and ask them do everything for you. they'll prob charge you around $20.

it really save me alot of troubles n especially time..

 

and when i sold my phantom, i asked the guy to pay me full then go bike shop n do all those transfers...

haha..

i just remember that i have a bday celebration to attend..

will come down after that.. but dunno u guys will still be ard..

PROBLEM is not serious, if it can be solved with MONEY ... the PROBLEM comes when you have NO MONEY

anyway.. just the other day, 2 TP was looking at me all over at a traffic light junction.. i think they looking at my half-cap helmet... but did nth..

dunno when i will get caught for it.. haha..

u seem like u need some enlightenment~

 

do you guys realised that the street lamps or public lighting have been reduced significantly? esp at expressway...

 

i tink they are more willing to summon those with tinted visors than those with half caps...cuz i was in ur situation b4

 

its not just this time.. i have been in this situation alot of times.. easily more than 5 times..

but i agree with u abt the tinted visor.. and also, my friend was summon or warning for not fastening his helmet strap...
