i'm not sure myself. like i said. collegue forward me this email. i'm still a new rider. the only speed cam i ever tot existed is those we see on the expressway. those big ugly grey boxes tatz taking up too much space. mayb tis STC thingy is a new gadget?

oh yar. another thing. mayb u knew already. my bro always remind me to be careful when going down town on fri/sat nites. got patrol. call themselves operation tiger? make sense to u? bro tell me they tend to find fault for no apparent reason. doesn't make sense to me. but anyway, m lucky not to run into them(yet). so i'm not sure abt tis also.

road safety should be promoted thru education not coecering by speed traps & fines.

juz alone promoting education wouldnt make our country rich..of cos must tink of other methods. similarly like smoking, raising price n changing packaging will not oso change the minds of smokers.

setting erp gantries will not ease traffic jams as well!! As far as i know , still the same

if they r really sincere, might as well ban this country frm selling cigarettes

ps: not to offend any smokers

will be gd if someone can verify these claims as i believe many of us go thru these roads everyday. can't possibly travel at 50kmh rite??

just saw one. my usual route to work. PIE to AYE. clementi ave 6 there. saw 2 policeman sitting there with their camera. good thing i was gg at 80km/h only. slowed down to 60km/h as soon as i saw them. (making sure no cars behind me when i do tat of coz)

not saying that i like to speed. but to maintain my 150cc bike at 50km/h on normal public roads or 90km/h at expressway, i feel like i'm draggin my bike. won't that heats up my engine faster? so draggy. can't imagine if i had to maintain 90 from jurong to changi airport. if it's aledi draggy for small bikes. i can't imagine bigger capacity bikes having to drag at such speed.

i'm a smoker myself and let say if garment ban sales of cigg, they will be killing off their own income...cigg r one of the major taxable items..my fren who use to work in a cigg firm told mi the cost price is around $3.00 and they sell it 6+ on the market.let's say 1 pack they earn 3 bucks and there's 500,000 smokers in singapore.dun do hardcore sums,1 guy buys 1 packet every 2 days..that will be 1.5m every 2 days..so in short, they will be earning 22.5m every month..so u tink they will ban?

and that's when Juliet Bravo comes into the pic

The device has been in operations for months already. Huggable kena twice in May, on ECP and on Lornie Road. They deployed at road shoulder and a bus stop respectively. Nowadays they shifted to overhead bridges.
