BTW, can advise how much more mileage after the petrol indicator lights up?

Thanks!

Not yet, but I've repaired it already. I know whats causing the problem.

You're riding a

When my bike hit reserve, typically at 270-280km, theres still about 110km to go before it goes completely dry (Went dry at 391km to be exact). I wouldn't wanna take the risk though!

With stock pipes consumption was slightly worse. Whats your average fuel consumption?

Yup, but I reckon you can safely go to 350km before you're really in danger of running dry. From my experience, using straight through pipes gave better consumption, both on the streets and touring!

As for the LEDs, let me get my thumb back first, its not easy doing soldering with my left hand!

Hey come down and have a look n chat wif us. See and hear and touch monsters. 8pm apple strudel bugis this sat. All your questions can be answered here. :thumb:

your insurance might cost $393 from ntuc if your stats are the same as below:

22y/o

1.5 yr riding exp

no buang b4

FQ monster 400

3rd party

you can get decent FQ and older bike wif 3.5k but have to look. Definitely have to do some servicing and buy some parts some time soon after you get your bike. Better have budget for ard 4.5k for insurance, bike transfer, season parking, petrol, road tax, change engine oil, maybe go for full bike checkup, timing belt change/adj, valve clearance check, maybe tires(very impt your life at stake), some repairs maybe.

The glass on the left of my Mickey Mouse Mirror flew off while I was riding along the N-S Highway Last Friday:cry:   .

Does anyone have a spare one lying around in good condition to spare. Shall pay for it.

Thank you.

Are your mirrors the originals? My monster had cheaper ones which look skinnier, but worked fine up until the engine nears redline, where it vibrates till everything is a blur.

Only tested up to 170 though, cos my bike no power :D Dunno how they will hold up to 250km/h.

Michael from Kallang cycles has some spare i think. try checking with him. And although it is original it is not brand new so you wont have to pay alot to get a brand new original.
