[sold] WTS: Pirelli Supercorsa BSB tires 190/55/7 rear, 120/70/17

Dear All,

 

I'm selling a set of Pirelli Supercorsa BSB tires 190/55/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. This tires are brand new from Pirelli for 2013 and is a road going version of the race tires used in the BSB. It is a dual compound tire which uses the same thread pattern used for the Supercorsa SC2's. This ensures good performance as well as better tire longevity.

 

I've done about 800km on them for 3 x 1hr track sessions.

 

Those who take notice of my previous thread this is my second set of BSB's since the Dragons have been discontinued.

 

In my opinion, this tire is an awesome track day tire. This is not confined to track use and is produced mainly for people who ride 50% street and 50% road. So you would not have to worry about the tires not heating up enough when riding on the road.

 

This tire to me is a good mix of road usability and track performance. It is able to hold the line extremely well when cornering and gives a good amount of feedback so that I know what is going on between the tires and the road.

 

The tires are in good condition with no patching done or punctures and would be more than enough for road use. I would not let them go if they were not road worthy as it would be irresponsible of me.

 

I am asking for $140 cash and carry. A new set of these would cost about $430.

 

This is a great opportunity to try out a new model of tires at a low cost to determine if you like them and maybe eventually get brand new ones.

 

I am heading to my workshop now to have them changed as there is a trackday coming up on the 14th and I normally run fresh tires for them.
