Maybe replacement for the old fireblade? but blade also different vibe.

 

all different, all good, all fun. but always be on lookout for the next toy.

 

btw, GS has its good points, BUT the bad points outweigh them....too ex, fussy, not very DIY...etc...let some one else get it, this rider still satisfied for now. wait for next urge to go jungle then the weapon of choice hopefully will be a frickin ktm adventure..or whatevers available. XR? DR?

 

anw, whens the next outing?

 

anyone up for a daytrip to mersing or ayer papan this sunday? early morn blast to entertain yourself, back by lucnh to entertain those at home.

can maybe make it a bit later than this sunday?

 

cos the bike decided to drop on its left side.... with me still on it.

 

no worries. nothing major. minor plop. still have my insanity intact.

 

will be out of action about a week or so.

anyway, got zx10 mono from one of the bros here, looks promising. that settles the rear.

 

But stock fork is already at maximum hard setting for preload & damping & still too soft.

 

anyone got lobang for 636 forks and radial brake calipers?

Ah Fai, how's the condition of your engine guard on the other side? How much do you plan to sell it at? I might be interested it is in relatively gd condition, coz mine's is getting too unpresentable! :sian:

Ah~ I know what you mean...

 

I planning to sell it at S$35, both of them, but the problem is I spray it green already, you will need some chemical to clean away the paint :smile:

Thinking of getting it for urban n occasional touring

Sympathise(wrong spelling maybe) how you feel.

 

I wasn't able to wait, bid on ebay, wait for shipment, then modify and install...just no time. Plus my irregular schedule....it was a big No. (636 forks would still be the best exchange thou)

 

Initially I questioned the single sided damping rubish and the sh*t brakes, makes going around P.Gudang like ridding a rodeo bull.

 

Heard some of the top GP riders also have single sided damping, and since they were connected via bottom and top triple clamp, they actually work in hand.

 

Got my fork springs customise to my body weight, and internal valves change to aftermaket stuff(these guys do suspension setting for Asia Pac racers)...wala...now i ride a tame horse. And it brakes better too.(with aftermaket hoses and good pads).
