6k rpm high meh ? if maintain 4k on expressway.. i will be like gg at less than 80kmh leh..too slow liao. even if 6k is high, the difference in consumption can't be tt much right?

average fuel consumption rate of rvf is around 200km per full tank and reserve, i got no experience cos i never open reserve.

so overall vroomvroom, ur bike is consider average.

haha gpr70 oso one of my next target and the other is Metzler sportec M1(a bit ex) . BT090 is not bad on normal weather but for wet weather really cannot make it. Last time when riding KRR using tt900 oso nvr meet so many skidding on wet weather so maybe Dunlop tire better

anyone here noes the price of Metzler sportec M1

Just went to the bikeshop yesterday... It's finally finished! Everything has been fixed up, now i only have to wait for the inspection, probably will be able to get it out and riding in 2-3 days. The sound of the engine was so shiok... really miss the engine sound... :cheer:

Only thing is i was told the thread that holds the spark plug is damaged, so the spark plug isnt holding on very well.... will need to change that very very soon... But will ride it out first. :cheer:

last two month ago i ask southern motor , ah huat quote me $280 plus balancing dun know the price got increase or not

Metzler sportec M1 only suitable for 600cc n above bikes . If u r riding RVF bike i think these the website will help

www.motorcyclelane.com/modifications.html

hmmm....Frankly speaking....i DUnno what is all this thing about 600cc can use, 400cc cannot use becoz need long time to warm up as 400cc not enuff torque blah blah blah...I can tell u from my personal usage iz not true la.

I'm using the Sport tec M1 for almost 2 months now. It doesnt need a long time to warm up, it gets real sticky after just few mins on the road, handling is a vast improvement after i change to this tire.. could be due to the fact that i finally change to a correct rear size of 150.

anyway i have no complains abt this tyre.,,although DLM told me this is a touring tire but hey! iz good enuff for me lor..coz im not those GP racer need every ounce of rubber on the tires.

anyway..just my opinion la..if u all still tink sportec not for RVF, you'll be missing out on a very good tire.

oh BTW iz $340 front back include balancin at SANFU :thumb:

i changed my rear tire to the new bt020 .. not bad i must say .. and i think the threading on the tyre look very nice.. but i wonder if it wear out fast coz after 1 week of riding .. i can see like got 2-3 mm of the groove thickness gone

btw...can someone tell me what does balancing do ?

ehhh..aRK-CHOR-LEE hor.....any damn good tyres oso will skid till UM-JIA-Lan on a wet rainy road lah.

just relac abit on wet days (the weather i mean...hehehehe) lah...dun throttle too much, brake gradually and avoid those damn white lines lor! frankly speaking hor.... my lean angles from the ground on rainy days is only 80 degrees..meanin if bike upright on ground means 90 degrees, i only lean Max 10 degrees.

there is nothing to prove on wet weather, safety 1st..

remember we only 2 tyres on ground, thaz like only two mini-disc area contact patch on the ground.....DUn PRAY PRAY on your WET DAYS guys!

whole rim balance out evenly when turning...
