Honda RVF400/NC35

Guys,my bike is having a bit of a problem now.Everytime when I want to start my bike from cold,it'll like keep wanting to die off.I need to do the trick(kinking to second gear then then and pulling the bike backwards) that was posted before by one of you guys before it can start and warm up smoothly.Any idea what is wrong with it?Think Buzz told me before is the charger coil or something like that spoilt?

magnetic coil aka alternator lor..... from yr symtoms..seems some coils burn liao lo.

 

correct me if im wrong.

hi there! Iceflame, chinese, 21, newbie in tis forum, got RVF the "sai tau" or nt huh?

if gt let mi know lei, coz part of my sai tau got chip bcoz of sum stuipd malaysai kup kia's hit the side of my bike.

and the clear plastic part of the headlights...

if can call mi at 97535951.

if yes, then u make ur idling higher abit see can anot.

 

cos think is just idling run away cos u ride ur bike hard.

 

u up ur idling see can anot first bah.

huh?? im confuse leh..ISE you having electrical problem or carb problem?? idling erratic? cannot start....starter sounds weak or what?

 

coz i remember ISE saying that he use the clutch in-2nd gear- roll-back method than can start his bike... should be electrical right?

 

n sorry i dunno the price for the coil man.

 

i saw PGM's coil before..small small damn cute one..dunno same anot. oops

he says "keep wanting to die off", not cannot start at all.

 

and the technique he used is for when ur bike is hot and cannot start bike, then is used that 1.

I can start my bike using the electric start but at times when I have to start from cold in the morning,the bike will be very difficult to start.It'll start then die off very quickly.Even if I hold the throttle open for a while,it'll still die off after I let go.I'll then have to use the roll back method then it'll start to warm up properly.....

 

 

Anyway,anyone know where to get "friendly" xbox games beside Johor?Been searching for it but can't seem to find any.....

today on my way home...

One M'sia TZM cut me by damn close and wack throttle very loud....iz freakin TONG all the way i think..scared the sh*t outta me as i was in middle lane adjusting my chin strap.

 

after i got my chin strap sorted out, i decided to "scare him" back! so dropped 2 gear and brrrrrrrRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA......... overshot him oso dunno, than saw him change lane to my 1st lane and begingin to 'jip" me.

 

everytime i hear his sound coming closer, i close throttle till i can see him in my mirror and just when hez about to overtake, i opened throttle and set the distance again (Walau...RVF midrange roll-on is very very good ).

 

heehee...we went like on this exhilarating ride... sqeezing by pass cars that dun signal and cars that travel on 2 bloody lanes till i reach my Exit. i turned around and waved goodbye while the TZM rider now that i can see him clearly as he come up beside me was a malay chap in his 30s and he gave me a thumbs up sign, and we both parted ways.

 

although a frenly match, my puny heart was pounding like siao wwhen i stop at the lights later....that TZM was scaringly noisy and fast in pickin up . respect!
