Sun I'm goin to kota tinggi wid 2 frens or more, any1 interested? but cruisin speed is slow, cos fren riding phamtom200 n wave s, go there do wad still need to recomfirm. I think is swimmin or wad la...

Dun worry abt the route or anything cos my frien is malaysian, so he's beri familiar.

Anyway, I realized why my temp always shoot up so high in such a short time. Found out yesterday that the coolant reservoir is empty! Well, going to change my coolant soon. Then my rear brake fluid reservoir oso empty! Another prob, my front forks are squeeking... sigh... must spend so much money again...

As long as i never overheat the engine too much, it's still alright. At most I've experienced is ard 3/4...not to the extent of max temp on the gauge...

 

Less coolant means the system cant expel the heat as fast since the ratio of the coolant volume to the heat dissipation smaller.... Which only means for the same amount of heat generated by the engine, a lesser volume of coolant conducts the heat, so heat loss is not as efficient as to when there is an ideal volume.

 

Not to the extent as you said that my engine gone case. As long as my temp gauge is not always at 3/4 or at full, it shld still be alright. Only that heat transfer is not as efficient.

 

Btw, not cooling system empty you know... just the reservoir behind empty...

the bike u see is at shops or from private owner?

 

actually if u r buying a second hand bike, i would highly recommend that u buy from private owner, cos, lets say same bike, if buy from shop is higher.

 

problems? artificial problems u can see it and oso not that important, is the internal problems that only after u ride it then u noe and is not funny at all.

But why will the sound be raw? It's not engine oil mah. The cooling system doesnt go thru the engines like the engine oil does rite? So if no engine oil then will have raw sound rite?

 

Anyway, if really dun have coolant in front, then the temp will shoot up Really Very Fast... haha... com to think of it... i better open up the front cap to check just in case... :goodluck: to myself...

when bike got no coolant, the sound really sound raw and loud, dun as kme why like that i oso dun noe the technical reason behind that.

 

but i kanna before. the sound is so different that i notice it right away.

the temp oso shoot up Really Very Fast. that arouse my suspicion on the coolant got problem.

 

then i stop bike immediately see around the coolant cap wet wet 1, and unscrew the cap with cloth to my horror, no coolant left at all. the cap's rubber melted. all coolant boiled out of my bike.

 

take out hp call tow truck. hahaha.

 

then later the mech told me heng i found out quickly, if not engine gone case.
