the one u saw at club two is what plated and what colour scheme?

then yr bike is what plate and colour scheme?

haha me dunno much on the locations on TAB logistic units...

hey dude, the one i use to see parked at club2 is i think FP 2 something one..cant remember. its original paintowrk though.

there is one Blueish RVF opposite medical centre, dunno what plate oso.

Mine?? hehehe... fully original colors and plate is SECRET!!! kekekeke...... cannot post here la..wait tio aim!

:btw: why the obsessiveness of RVF number plates around the base? saw an interesting mod on that bike isit?

anyhooz..... today pass by 143 SQCP saw a original paintwork RVF parked at thier bikes parking slots. didnt get to see the plates but worth a look if u are lookin hard for that particular bike.

i am now developin that habit after DLM's advise and my unfortunate incident (read few pages back).

switchin yr fuel s/w off is not so much of 'advantage' but to prevent Carbs flooding.

when the carbs flood..its a ###### to start, esp on a NC. it happened to me....i nearly died tryin to push start a bloody 4stroker.

so always S/w to 'off' when u park overnite...even when u ride to work and park for 9 hours, switch it off. You may not experenince any difficulty or 'difference' if u dont. but someday , given the right conditions of precipitation, weather, temperature, bike slant angle, type of petrol use.......it will happen..the dreaded flooded carbs!!

always a pleasure knowing a fellow V-Force lover!! ya still riding RVF right? coz see yr nick SP-2 dunno isit u upgrade ride SP-2 liao. do join in any of out future RVF meetups.

:cheer:

as for the rectifier thingy...yea...well....not only our RVFs are affected. seems MOST honda sportsbikes have the same probs. Honda electrical engineers clearly outta be :box:

anyhooz... problem can be hopefully solved by replacing the stock unit with a bigger metal rectifier with FINS and heat-sinking plate.

:goodluck:

GENTLEMEN~~!

The LONG AWAITED CBR1000RR is here in sillypore!!! i saw it in the flesh!! it was parked side by side a cbr600rr just besides the Boonsiew workshop. it looks every bit like its smaller brother but slightly bigger, fairings styling more angular, more fierce like RCV211. The tail fairings is :lovestruck: too fierce to describe.

i didnt get to check out the cockpit view and the innovative HESD coz it was partially covered up by canvas and the Boonsiew Mech ahpek was eyeing my every move around the bike with eyes that could kill.

My god!.... i dare say i've never layed eyes on such a beautiful machine before...maybe iz becoz its styled so much like our dream RCV211. Give it a V5 engine and i'll go rob a bank and buy one no 2nd tots!

KEN.....IF I WERE YOU......... hahaha...you know what i mean la....

i look at yr 04 R1 at 1st glance......" hmmmm....... o_O ......err...hmmm?" something not quite right.

i just saw the 04 CBR 1K RR ...... " WA LAN EH!!!!!" :lovestruck: " love at 1st sight!

make me think again about not upgrading right away. few bikes make me feel this way.

try to think. what is your petrol tank made from? if you leave it for some time, what would happen? tried it before and the insides of my tank rusted. but if you are on the go, you'll feel a loss of power, its similar to the feeling of having no petrol, sound of the bike is also a bit different. due to your carbs burning a mixture of petrol & water.

if i am not wrong, gpr70 can last for 4 track sessions + some street riding. so i believe its safe for me to say it can last for at last 1/2 year to 1 year of normal street riding? but of course, after a year, most probably you would wanna change your tires? planning to switch back to gpr again.

my handle beri heavy...lets say tryin do do a slow 90degree left turn, almost completin the turn, hard to bring bike back straight... den bike wanna drop left, den have to use my super hurricane kick to bring it up n straight...

movin off from stationary, will will slight swerve left..right..left...(abit onli)

but tryin to run at ard 140kph at cte, orchard towards amk, durin those bends, handle not stable, its not vibratin or shakin left rite, but it seems like the front wheel not beri stable.. dun realli noe how to relate it, but seems like the fork to soft, bouncy n jumpy.. or maybe the cte isn't realli a smooth stretch of tracks...

Now wad? steerin cone bearings? front wheel bearings? forks?

price? haiz...

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:

I'm not too sure whats the problem... Not being stable shouldnt be becoz of the bearings i think. Maybe u can try to make sure u have the correct pressure in your tires.

As for the CTE, yes, its a little bumpy. Coz if you feel the bumpiness on the road, means that your suspension is harder, if you dont feel that much bumps, then your suspension is softer... works on the principle of damping... over-damped, under-damped or critically damped.

But prices :

Cone bearings : ~$80

Wheel bearings : ~$50

If I remember correctly....

Lastly... whos that girl in your avatar? you gf issit?

Maybe u can try changing a more heavy balancer to yr bike. It really have a lot

of different to the handling of yr bike.you can go MOTORWORLD at KAKI BUKIT

n ask. Make of metal n u ask the salesman to take for u,he will know which 1 u r talking. It costs $30. Believe me u try n u will know the difference. :thumb:

benson i think maybe because last time u adjust ur handle position more inwards before, thats y when u U turn its very hard to recover...

hehe...... cute?

So who is dat???? :bounce:

Anyway, if what terrence said happened. It means that : when you move the front down = hardening the front fork suspension. That explains why you might feel that the roads are more bumpy. Harder suspension = feel more bumps, since hard suspension = under damping.
