No kidding!!!! :lovestruck: fell in love wit it the first time i look.... i m a sucker for origi stuffs.:thumb: but then again the price might b'com a factor  So wat kind of price do u tink the shop will quote?? full service n change sprocket...how much will it co$t???

How much is ur budget?Think they most probably will sell it 10k and above. But u can tell them that u know the previous owner and it was sold for 9.5k so they won't chop u too much.Anyway I think the chain and sprocket, u can request them to change it for u if u buy the bike. But the full service u'll need to do it.Shld cost 200+.Hopefully u'll buy the bike, then at least it won't fall into some Ah beng hand and kana tortured... :giddy: Somemore if u buy it,then I got chance to see it again when I join the future outings...:cheer:

hey guys,,,have you guys ever wondered how reliable and economical our bike is? or is not?

yadayada..i know some of you will say, if gg for economy might as well not ride a sportsbike.

i've calculated aprroximately what i've spend on petrols, servicings, repairs of wear n tear stuff, installments & road taxes, misc neccessary fees to keep the damn bike on the road etc etc....for the past one year that i've owned it...

add them all up, divide by 52 and then 7 = $$ spent per day on the bike which amounts to $15.50 Per Day!! wow...that to me is quite heavy considering taking bikes for transport ought to be cheaper than that!

Nxt,calculating since i got the bike i travelled approx 6000 Km. That amounts to about 0.90 cts for every Km i travelled. that is Steep man! i think take taxi everyday oso not so Ex.

i'm wondering if my 2nd year of ownership might be better (less $$ per km) this year considering i've done the critical things like Wheel bearings, Steering Cone, Full Forks servicing, sprock/chain, 2 batteries + 1 rectifier, new tyres during my 1st year.

any Rvfians here, who had at least owned yr NC for a year wana share yr $$ per Km figures too?

Uncle. I travelled 200-300km per day n I've calculated the insurance, road tax, instal, petrol, parts wear n tear, repairin, servicing, lubing or chain, season parking

Total per yr is its ard $14612+/-

So its ard $40++ per day to keep this bugger goin...

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:

oh yea...forgot about Season parkings n insurances!

but then where got $14612 so much? Modifications are not included ok!

only calculate for the neccessary $$ spent to keep bike on the road which includes whatever repairs/ recons, services, petrol, season coupons, road taxes, insurance etc....

$40 per day ah.....i think u are better off riding a transport like rxz or wave lah since you are on the road most of the time. more economical. So far, you are the winner! u spend the most per day but i think your $ spent per Km figure is more worth it?

I've hav read previous pages and i've found out where k&t is...anyway thanks :thumb: :btw: How does financing/taking loan actually works......?

Let say i loaned 5k at 5% int and comfortable in paying back in 24 mths...

Is the total cost 5k x 1.1 ie 5.5k and mthly will be 5.5k/24???

And let say after paying through 7 mths of instalments, i win 4D and can spare 2k....How the calculations then???   :help: :help:

:gun: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ :bouncefire:

loan $5k, then plus the interest per year which is $250 per year.

2 years will be $5k + $250 +$250 = $5500

then $5500 / 24 = $219.1666666666666666666666 / month.

Some of the shop will give u a discount if u settle the loan earlier but it's up to them. They can also dun give.So it's best that u decide how longer u wan to take to pay first and then stick to it.
