Thanks for all the help offered.

 

1) I would need to look for parts cheap. Fairings especially. Can anyone help? Maybe can help me ask the price of the fairings.

 

2) I need to get engine oil oso. Coz the metal casing(gear box? or engine case?) cracked, all my engine oil flowed out. I wanna get motul....saw in some past threads can get motul 300v at 18....anyone have any idea?

 

3) Will it be cheaper to get the parts myself of juz to get the bikeshop to settle? I wanna cut as much costs as possible.

The bike skidded when i cornered today. Side fairings trashed, front fairings oso trashed, engine case oso trashed, brake pedal and handle oso trashed....

 

Dunno how much gonna cost.... big big hole....

 

Heart pain, skin pain...

 

Burnt holes in my pants and skin.... hurts like hell....

 

jus some comments on e bike condition

have similiar incident like him...

but my fairings jus crack, engine case save, gear lever save

thanks to e sliders.. no asking any1 to install.. but it do helps...

no need to sell buy seats, just change the skin can liao.

but my front seat everytime squueze sure got water come out one....like alot of water trap inside...wont the cushion or foam inside spoil liao?

Cannot like tat say man. Since u ready bought it, must take care mah. Hor? :smile: especially old bikes..... prob here n there.

 

Always make a habbit check our chain & tyres every 1 or 2k km. Lube ur chain also once a week helps.

 

This way, can help to reduce wear n tear. In other words, save $$.

yea DLM i agree. buy liao must take care..no regrets just that sometimes i "You Xing Wu Li " ...i got the passion for the bike but not the DOUGH to make it super nice therefore before i fix the wearing n tearing parts, i will not start any mods.

 

understand from most of you during the last outing is that the general sentiments is to upgrade to bigger bikes soon.....but for me...the RVF is like a special bike to me..intend to keep it for quite some time....so i'll def try to take care of it as best i could. heehee

I talked to ah chong at planet. He said i can bring down the engine oil to change in his shop.

 

Since his shop doesnt have motul, thats why i asking if anyone wanna buy...more orders can ask for better price mah.

i now use 160 one but the chain like rubbing against the

side of the tyres leh...........

 

not possible... i oso using 160 @ the rear... no prob. so far... dub go beyond 160 can liao. but betta to use a 150. ;)

if u r using X chain and ur tyres is 160 rear, then will rub. are u?
