mine is in blue color....urs is in original paintwork rite? i tink i saw 1 rvf b4 opp the park.....u park ur bike at the carpark near the 496 kopitiam 1 rite? blk 46? wan if im not wrong....

hehe...i tink u should be the 1 waving 2 me lor....there's so many original paintwork RVF on the road,wat if i wave to the wrong person very pai seh 1 leh.....at least in our area there isn't much blue RVF so u can recognize me without much problem lor....

revolution, u stay at jurong ah? Do you go malaysia to pump petrol? clean bo???

 

i oni go malaysia pump petrol once in a while lor....if i got go,i will oso oni go the shell petrol kiosk opposite city square.....there's 1 more shell near the custom but some said dat the petrol there not clean lor....duno whether it's true anot but better be safe den sorry lor....

 

hope u enjoy riding ur RVF too....

so what kind of chain & socket to use leh ?

k & t recommed me one ......dunno what brand forgot leh at $200

leh........ cifford say good ....... what chain u all use ?

and he say is normal to find it rud against the wheels as

it is 160......... headache man.......

hmm... change chain & spocket and ur rubber @ 1 time loh... ;)

just did some servicing today :D

castrol R4 - 16 X 4 = $64

Denso Y24FER-C sparkplugs 16 X 4 = $64

tuning of carburettor = $35

 

any comments of the aboved pricing ? did i get chopped ? :confused:

but i was pleased with the performance n smoothness my bike gave after this. ;)

Just went to the bikeshop to access the damage....

 

Quite bad... Gear box cracked, engine casing at the bottom cracked, 2 pipes at the bottom flattened....

 

All these ah chong estimate roughly close to $2k!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

 

And these dont include the fairings and stuff!!!

 

I'm a gonner this time....where to find this kinda money? Still owe money here and there somemore....deep deep trouble this time....

 

I'm at wits end.... Anyone know where I can find any loan?

ask e bikeshop whether can installments

and ask them not to use expensive parts

either chiong or 2nd hand lor

I'll try to ask if can pay by installments...

 

Thinking of getting the money from credit company if no other way...

 

The bottom engine casing broke...ah chong said new one costs up to 3k... He trying to source a 2nd hand one at ard 1k+...

u mean which part ? the tuning part ?

they just plug in 4 wires from the vaccum tester(forgot the name) to ur carbuettors n start tuning from der. i dunno how to explain here in words... maybe dlm,ken can do a better job. :cheer: :D

eh, try to give me a list of specified damage stuff, every singale thing they charge, i help u to ask around.

 

tell that ah chong not to do anything yet.

the $35 of tuning of caburettor din include washing rite?

if include washing den is cheap lor....

clifford charge $80 for both mah.

Thanks Ken.... Here's what's damaged...

 

Interior Damages

1) Gear box casing - $80

2) Bottom engine casing - $1.5k to $2k

3) 2 of the pipes at the bottom - ard $200

 

Ah chong says he'll get the cheapest deal for the engine casing (2nd hand from other bikeshops most prob...new one costs at least $3k, he says.

 

Exterior Damages

1) Brake pedal - $35

2) Brake handle - $15

3) Right indicator light - $16

 

Unaccessed Damages

1) Front fairing

2) Bottom right fairing

3) Bottom left fairing

4) Right tail fairing

5) Front rim
