ani idea which company does 2nd party? my bike shop told me oni 3rd party is available now.

Not veri sure. For my case, 1st party still available for mi. Mine from NTUC. I think they will look up on ur history, c if ur record is clean.

For NTUC still got 2nd party. Marine not taking in any rvf.

Hi Guys..
need some advice..

i was quote $12k Fs plate at dexing
3 digital no.
original paintwork but i think respray before..
tail is white n not black....

advice ppl??

call that shop to suck thumb for a FS plate RVF for $12k not OTR price.

if u wanna buy rvf actually i advise u to take FN plate cos no powercut and honda engine is durable dun be afraid that it will be no good as u see CBR L model, ard 10 years liao still can have faster top end then rvf and FN rvf do not have power cut and it is cheaper too.

buzzbean, i everyday kiao ka now lah so u can call me go with u to see the rvf. i m angel

and buzzbean remember that u must get a hand written proof form the shop if they said got 1 month warranty and u ask them to open up the bike to check the parts as got many things sure spoiled liao. must tell them to repair for u first, if not u will end up repairing like siao like me..sob sob...

one more rvf here... so guys, one question to ask, my rvf do 180km on $17 of petrol, damn... dunno wads wrong with it, can anyone advise? could it be because of the age of my bike? its a FM....

u can call mechanics to open carb to see any leakage when rev but must go somewhere good, like K&T at paya lebar.

and do u pillion?

or do u rev alot?

RPM always maintain at what?

Hi KeHin99,

old bike does affect abit. ur bike still not tat old lah. Perhaps previous owner did some mob to this bike. Either he change to alternator inside the engine, which kelvin had done it. Or the carb needle set high. the higher the needle, eat more petrol = more power = more pick up. Maybe next time when u service ur carb, can ask the mechnic to set it to stock.

sell my braided hose?? so fast.... i juz got it install not long ago man. hehe..... Mmm... so far so good. Guys, recommended to change, at least the front part. the stock one is terrible. I think ride safely still the best.

Mmm... not really tat sure how the alternator works on bike. It seem to charge more power to ur engine. When hitting full throttle, the bike still able to accel away. But the cons side, it drains away ur petrol .

Recently some oil appears on my right front disc, went to mechanic.says cause by my fork leak. quote me $30 to change both. my Rvf is a 95 model, anybody ever encounter this before, what are the common problem for rvf, bought my bike for 7k, think its a reasonable????? ANYBODY please quote

DEpends what he does with the $30. But sounds like just a change of oil seals.

To service both forks (ie overhaul would cost much more) but is recommended.

Guys i need some help, sometimes my first gear is not very smooth and it is very tough to switch to the second gear and when this happens,the first gear becomes abit weak!

When it does not happen,the bike is very smooth,easy to switch gear and the first gear more power.

Any idea why this happens?
