benson,i saw quite a few RVF 4 sale at dexing oso....go down take a look lor....can use the price they quote u as a gauge.....the price they quote is ard the market price 4 rvf.....if u can find cheaper 1 from other motordiams den can consider liao

 

like wat ken say dun 'gan jiong' slowly see see ard surely can get a gd deal 1......

how to check the condition good anot very hard lah, so the best is u got some cash spare to do a bit of maintenance.

I think the best is buy from private seller. Confirm cheaper than the shops. Maybe can try looking thru the classifieds and garage sale sections. I saw a few threads on selling RVFs.

1) All non original paintwork, you nvr know if the bike got buang of watever problem b4.

2) Expensive. Their FQ plate(non org paintwork) costs the same price as the FS plate I bought from martin.

 

If you not sure what to look out for when buying, you can ask some of our lao jiaos here to go with you and look at the bikes b4 deciding.

yea man! look out for stuff on the bike!! even u rev rev the engine...sounds ok?? but check the forks, aging RVFs have this front fork oil seal leaking probs....like MINE when i bought it!!

Hei bro!! Just got back from TSP. Bought a FP plate respray original RVF for 8.5k. Abit ex but all include 6 mths rd tax, 1 yr insurance. but their interest is 8% per annum!!! Bo pian.... number plate got three 4s and 1 more other number(better dun say)!

CBR not too bad in terms of power too ma...no meh?? i rode my fren one b4...feels more GRUNT than RVF.

TSP! not ASP. its stand for teo spray P(dunno p means wat)... at defu lane 10. 8% i oso think high but better then my current bike.. 10%!! not reloan but buy directly from bike shop...
