TSP! not ASP. its stand for teo spray P(dunno p means wat)... at defu lane 10. 8% i oso think high but better then my current bike.. 10%!! not reloan but buy directly from bike shop...

 

You shld really have asked the lao jiaos to go with you. You get RVFs from bikeshops with prior knowledge of the problems it can have, the bikeshop just anyhow push one to you, you wouldnt know if it was in good condition anot.

 

Well, since you bought it, lets hope its in good condition.

 

Maybe you can go down to a bikeshop to have it looked thru for any problems.

aiya y u so sensitive?? worth it, worth it lor..im not laffin at u what. im just happy i got mine at 6%...most ppl are > 7%...but the thing is my bike a bit prob here n there..need to fix up.

I park my bike on sidestand, neutral, rev till rpm 6k+, did a back fire, then off my bike, then from the left side of the bike under the fairin start leakin out some liquid which looks exactly like tea with milk...

Wats wrong? touchtouch, it feels like water then oil..smell liao no smell...

i think some gasket broke liao and its mixing the coolant and engine oil..thaz why u get that milky color....but i dunno what gasket though..it happened to my fren's PGM.

Went to FJT a few days ago. Got these prices from them :

 

Front fairing : $420

Lower side fairings : $220 each

Right tail fairing : $190

Gear box casing : $140

Engine oil reservoir : $80

 

Total I will need to spend $1050 on the fairings if I wanna replace them. I think for now, I'll just patch them up 1st, wait till I have more money, replace them slowly.... : (

 

I would probably wanna fix frame sliders soon too, in case something like this ever happens, the sliders might be able to reduce the damages.

u noe backfire will have wat effect to ur bike?

quite a lot of things can be spoilt for doing that u noe?...

ya man.....4 stroke cornering slightly diferent..although RVF is consider light light liao but its still not as 'flickable' as our SP last time..so must take note!!

when moving off, and when the bike move liao n ur legs up, turn the trottle about 2.5cm to 3cm, the power doesnt comes instandly like 2 stroke, the rpm moves up ard 1.5k rpm in 1 sec, then aft that, it moves like 2k to 2.5k rpm in 1 sec... Is this the right reaction of rvf??

er...........think u open the throttle a bit slow bah.

 

try to open up more and see the rpm goes to 4 or 5 then change gear lor.

 

the faster u open to 4 - 5 rpm better.

 

we recommend MOTUL 300V 15W/50. and make sure it is 15W/50.

I think ken is rite...Coz I had this problem oso.

 

Doesnt seem to pick up onli till the rev go up slightly more...I realized its becoz i nvr throttle enuph, while releasing the clutch, so no power...

 

So all you gotta do is to throttle more, than it wont feel as though theres no power in the low rpm region.

oh now i understand yr question abit la...my bike oso loke this leh...low RPM feels very lazy and not smooth right??

 

oh..BTW....usually NEwBies organise the outing one! right guys? ( hint*hint)
