I have a suggestion :

1)Why dont we all trade ICQ numbers, then it'll be easier for us to find one another in case help is needed or anything. Then we can reach one another more easily.

I start 1st...

I think not good....since all r rvf owner, release of HP number shouldn't be a prob....think sms would be faster n more practical

I'll start the ball rollin 1st...

I am currently using fast throttle. What it does is that it allow u to open ur wrist lesser than normal throttle and will supposely improve ur pick up.Bt I am not very sure whether that is true or not as I haven't tried playing pick up with other RVF b4... But one thing that I am confirm is that after using the fast throttle for a long time,ur wrist will definitely become stronger.Cos the throttle is very tight thus will have to use more strength to open it.... :giddy:

Announcement

I'm currently liasing with someone in Japan to get RVF OEM parts. He is in the midst of checking out the prices for my orders. I was thinking if anyone out there wants to order any parts, more people order with me, we can split the shipping costs. So anyone interested?

original headlight for rvf is $18 each from K&T (should be this price if i didnt remember wrongly) ratings is 60/35. better to change to original headlight so that eat power wont be too much, if ur headlight now is 60/55, u better got headlight switch or take out a socket of a headlight if not u will be like me, bike 2-3 days only battery kanna drain out, rectifier cannot cope with the power wastage and soon ur magnetic coil will be chao ta and like me half way bike stall and got to go in and out of motor tiams.

I think wat u mean is the lightbulb. Wat i asking is the whole set of headlight cos got crack on the cover and bike shop say have to get whole set but now no stock. And he say one set abt $200++.Btw 2molo Dlm acc me to see bike at universal. U coming? :bounce:

For a FS plate, what should be the engine no? Those with RVF, don mind comparing ur engine no & frame no on ur log card, c whether they tally with which specifications(Blue or red) that i found below... thanks.

Cos when i compared mine with the specs, i found out that my engine belongs to the previous batch while my frame is new...

1.

jungleboy, for ur info, I've got the motul300v at mah motor parts. When I just walked into the shop and ask, instant reply is $20(CHEAP!) but I didn't bargain furthermore

2.

Went to SANFU to do a thorough check on my bike,ALOT of things were not in proper workin condition. Not fabricated but really with my eyes, I saw those worn out parts.... Reasonable price...

3.

As for the rear shock greasing thing which cheh_san quoted $80 from shop, Ah San from SANFU did it free for me

4.

Installed HEL steel braided hose for front x2 rear x1. $200 inclu instal.

No spare cash on hand, so own SANFU 1st. Pay back less then 1 month, no interest. 1mth($5), 2 mths($20) 3mths[MAX loan period($45)]. VERY REASONABLE!!! :cheer:

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:

And for all fellow RVFians' info, Mah motor parts realli sell their parts cheap. A pair of SBS pads cost only $25. whick means for RVF, front x 2sets & rear x 1set cost onli $75. Other shops range from $100 to $120!!
