I've realised sumtin.. To out run other 400cc bikes, RVF is able to do that. Just try to prvent wheelie at 1st gear, aft that, rev it like a 2b 2stroke bike. I trid that n its amazin!! can felt that front wheel lift off even at 3rd gear.... Believe it or not! Try it urself n u'll understand

 

 

YEA! i feel the same way!! rvf engine behaves like a 2 stroker. but one thing is..u got to high rev the bugger then the power CUMs...hehehehe.....

 

oso i feel the engine brake on rvf is LESS compared to a Super4 or CBR 400...which i feel is great!! :smile:

 

sighhh...we very cham hor? Raining all day today and we can only stay home and chat in forum!! SUCKS !! :giddy:

they nv test M1.. mayb its not good enuff muhaha kidding :lol:

prelli diablo was e best in e test.. was thinkin of changing to tat... hehe

anyone doin it?? i've seen it been installed on a cbr400....the process can be very ...er....heart-wrenching!! see the mech drill that bugger's fairing and cutting...aiyo... :giddy:

 

btw must make sure u find a good mech to do it..read somewhere in this thread....some guy install it but had a bad experience coz the mech very CHor-Lor to his bike when cutiin up the fairing..... :nono:

is it possible to put size 160 rear tyre on my RVF even though i am using X-ring chain?

seen some pple putting 160 rear tyres even though they r using X-ring chains.

Dun tink there is a diff. If un sure, check it wif ur reliable mech.

Anyway, its possible.

 

Revolution is using 160 for the back. ;)

i just switched from 160 to 150..and the results???

 

more flickability and stability in corners.....and feels lighter on pickup too.before when i was on 160....the bike hnadling is quite different..i dunno how to put it but.....i like the handling now more!

although just now go see show...slide out abit but i think is becoz floor is wet and my new tires are not very run in yet.

the downside of 150?? well....it doesnt seem to like high speed anymore i feel,.....less stable than a 160 at high speeds. but that could be attributed to the mech adjusting my Carbs to eliminate the low revs 'bubbles' thus loosing high speed smoothness OR it could be that damn wax that is still on the new tires when i came blasting home at *** hehehe but i cant put a finger on it yet..too many variable factors....

 

one more bad point of 150....from the rear..it looks ugly!! so small!! like a SP like that! :weep:

have u tried BikeLab?? some forum guys went there service thier forks the reviews were quite gd as everything is done in a 'clean room' unlike most motordiams' dirty floor.

 

they even do revalving to improve yr suspension too.

 

price-wise......dunno...have to call. :confused:

By the way, wanna hold a big gathering with phantoms, super 4 or anyother bikes that day, sure this will be more memorable. :smile:
