Hi I am new. I feel that I kena con that I bought my ah pek bike CBF 150 for a super mark up price. When I heard that my bike can be bought between S$800-S$1500. Left 5 years. Is it true?

I have been riding for coming 3 months but the bike engine gets very hot and noisy each time. I have changed my engine oil several times. What should I do? I dont know how to check or assess my bike condition, however I dont know who can I go to and consult my bike without being con again. Recently I went to a workshop to replace my chain cos it needs to be change, however the person din change spocket for me. =x Is that ok? Cos i read from the review that people say usually they change chain together with spocket.

How do I know when is it necessary to change my spark plug?

): Please advise. I have lots of questions in my head, I dont have much knowledge on bike and I am still learning. I hope someone can guide me along and teach me. :D

try out Bike 123 at Defu Lane 10 blk 7 or 11; sorry I can't remember exactly which blk.

the place doesn't look impressive but run by a pretty honest guy who's willing to share information and knowledge.

Call him at 62981415 to get exact address. His name's Kenny.

Be prepared to get your hands dirty when servicing your bike there. He may ask you to do some jobs yourself or to help him with some tasks.

By the way, the chain and sprockets do not come as a set. If you don't tell the mechanic to change both, chances are they will only change what you said to change. And it's not always necessary to change the chain and sprocket together.

Honda CG145, Honda CB150R ExMotion. And a few others in between...

No point crying over spilled milk, there are always markups whenever you buy stuffs, supply and demand period.

The engine being hot is most probably the riding style, you just state the engine is hot, but not other info, It's hard to analyse and provide help. For instance, you could be whacking the bike all the way, you could be riding as slow as a turtle. we don't know.

As for chain and sprocket, it's advised to change as a set as the wear and tear of a chain is somewhat linked to the sprocket.

i.e, if you change the chain, but still use the old sprocket, chances are your chain will wear fast and somehow you'll need to change again very soon, as that particular chain is not fitted best suited to that old sprocket.

You can change your spark plug everytime you change Engine Oil if you're rich, if not just do it every 2 switches of EO, or every 10k km

You can go to CBF forums and read up.

Road hogger @ 50km/h on 4th lane

A bike can go up till 200km/h, can the rider go up till 200km/h o_O
