Does the rear tyre wear off faster than the front ? Seems that theres ppl making only the rear tyre replacement but never heard of ppl changing only the front.

rear tire wears off faster because of the weight of the bike, rider and pillion. the more u pillion the faster it is to wear out. the front is basically to swerve in and out compared to the rear tire.

i hope u understand, i just dont know how to put in words..

Im loving every moment with my LV.

bridgestone price is hiking.. overall its still a reliable brand to look forward..

dunlop i would recommend alpha 10,11.. sticky and wear off fast..

up to rider to decide which is best.

What about the wear pattern? As in the uneven wear pattern very drastic?

Meaning to say that the tyre compund is quite hard in the centre... Wat bout the grips on the sides? Sticky? Cos I tend to lean a lot in corners...

err... i dunno sia cos i not lacer ah.. lol... but overall it is ok. hard compound yes. it gives longer and better mileage.. at the end of the day , it is still a "branded" tyres we are talking abt.. go get it.. i have no regrets...

2 cents.

BT021 front tyre has uneven wear for no apparent reason and wears off real fast compared to rear.

you pay about $360 for 1 set (front and rear).... then front wear off/ uneven wear.

then you change the front tyre SINGLE REPLACEMENT for about $200!

price point of view, its not that friendly to pocket.

mileage wise, its pretty solid. my rear BT021 after 20,000 km still looks like 80% for most tyres.

Wet / Dry performance nothing to comment.

Unless you are despatch or going up north frequently... clocking 50,000KM yearly... i dun reccomend anyone change BT021 for daily normal use.

personal opinion.

Btw anyone knows where's the best priced strada at? Checked with unique motorsport it's abt $295 a set, same price as bt090 which initially I wanted to get..

before you purchase, got to ask yourself the usage. i guess strada is more of a lasting tyre, bt090 is very much different; grippy but dun last.

Definitely will be getting the Strada. Read some good reviews in other forums on this tyre. Giving my current M3 another month and I'll be heading out to change to Strada together with all my wheel bearings.

Thanks for your input guys...
