headlights low/hi beam

hi guys,

i just noticed that my normal beam headlights are not working.

but the high beam is.

 

is there any reason? would it be possible that one is but not the other?

i would have thgt that if blows, it should be both not working at the same time.

 

if say, i need to replace the headlights.

is there any recommendation?

Assuming your VFR is 6th generation, the high beam and low beam bulbs are separate. Thus, one set can work while the other set is blown. Test the bulbs to see if the problem lie with them, or if it something with the switch / fuse / wiring.

perhaps its time to change as well?

heard lifespan is 2-3yrs?

 

any good rccm for vfr headlights? say, phillips?
