Actually for his case, i got a feeling that someone might be trying to 'borrow' his whole gear level... After opening the screw then realised that the front part is attached to the bike... Then he gave up 'borrowing'.. :giddy:

Yesterday evening it strike again... After sending Frennie home from bowling practise.

Stopped bike, sent her up, come back to bike, plug-in key, turn to 'on', crank bike, follows by 'tik tak'...

 

Only monitored that for the 2 occasions, i didn't off the signal lights before i off the engine. The 1st time my hazard lights were left on before i off the engine.Yesterday my left signals were left on before i off the engine.

Signs of battery weak? Maybe this weekend i try to locate where's the battery located and see whether i need to buy battery water to top up...

 

 

 

Its signs that your battery is dying... the battery cant hold enough voltage anymore, or you havent ride long enough duration/distance to charge the battery properly. But I think its the former that is the real cause. Take a multimeter and measure its voltage, it shld read 12.5V at least, and when charging at least 13.5V. Its good to check your rectifier as well, but leave that to the mechanic.

 

By the way, our battery is DRY CELL, you CANNOT buy battery water to top up. Its located under the seat, nearer to the fuel tank.

K thanks.I'm still wondering if ours is DRY cell or 'WET' cell like those found in cars... In my army daze, i remembered toppin up the landrovers' battery water.

By the way, how do i measure the voltage? Can step-by-step guide me? Later i go down my office car park to test...

The first thing that comes to my mind when the bike cannot start is not fuse burnt or battery gone...they came second..:

I was thinking," shxt, pocket burn, $ gone liao... :cheeky:

i smsed him....he said he juz changed spockets and chain last month...juz dat never wash...... hmmm but clair said its rusty liao??

anyways i said dat aug if im still interested and its still ups for sale ill contact him again la.... haha

whahaha... as arsenz said u kinda need to check the voltage but even using a voltmeter not really accurate... IMO just pop by a bike shop check it out b4 the weekend.
