Why would u say so leh? *Maybe* without PayAndPay, we might buy things even cheaper leh?

If u wan to compare sgp with msia, why would you buy a bike in msia? Last i seen, a ZZR14 was selling for 90K RM but a proton wire is going for only 38K.

If i'm in msia, i would get a car for interstate travelling and a kup for neighbour travelling.. with leftover $ from the 90K to zhng the car. What more, once u buy a vehicle over there.. its urs for u to keep till u get rid of it. Here, a vehicle no longer belongs to u once it reaches 10 yrs of age.

I am going to retire in Malacca when I get old, collect my CPF, sell off my flat, should have $1million RM by then, can buy a Proton whatever car, a kup kia, a semi-D, a young China wife and tons of cash to invest in and lead a slow easy life, watch TV, play mahjong, surf internet, play games, etc...

Given the living standards in SG, I can forget about retiring and work until I die...

:sian:

Who's your Daddy?!?

waahhh~ like tat better migrate to malaysia coz most rds down there no lamp-post :p & u only pay toll of rm1.30 once or twice  Malaysia BOLEH!

If the crime rate is not so high and the things there is advanced as over here, i do not mind migrating over.

Looking at it from a top-view, we are actually just like workers under 1 big organisation. But unlike working, we do not dare to brave the decision of a 'job-switch' . :cheeky:

Life's a gift... That's why they called it the present.

sigh*wat to do..but think positively...w/o PAP we wont buy our bike at this price...look at our neighbour malaysia...200% gov tax for import bike :giddy:

if u buy ur busa for sg$22k... malaysia sellin RM$60k or more...

:giddy: No wonder the high percentage of bike losses..

Life's a gift... That's why they called it the present.

If u want the lowest crime rate, I promote u to live at DAMANSARA :)

It is an elite place and all bungalows down there with at least 2 cars in their garage and over there all 'datuk' places :cheeky:

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

Play mahjong? With??

By the time you retire, you should have too many 'strings' attached to think of migrating... From observations: most old people thinks about relationships, not monetary terms..

Wah! all thinking of migrating...Looks like migrating at the 'east' better than at the 'west'...anyone migrating to Europe? :cheeky:

For me Maldives looks like a good place to retire :)

And there're no easy ways to improve the road traffic it means painful measures like the ERP and COE and we've to do more with them. We're working out schemes and I think they'll be ready to be worked out and start to be implemented early next year in January".
