ok ppl lets clear petrol prob 1st 92,95,98 & higher grd.......so watt

 

1st thing 1st.........CDI=Brain, carb=Heart , air box=Lungs , engine=Muscle , tires=Legs .....if any of this you dont take care or do reg servicing(except cdi)

 

every thing will go out te window.....even if you use jet fuel.

te prob is CARB setting too low or

setting off (air & fuel not mix properly)

Botakchi.. Hmmz.. one day if i join u guys for an outing.. hope u can take a look at my bike then.. and see wats need to be done.. Thx bro.. LOlz..

 

To mild_slevin, i was actually given the stock rims which kind of look like bicycle rims. i requested for sports rim and they change it for me.. with no xtra charge. if im not wrong.. hehe.. cant really remember.. my mind was kind of sumwhere else that day...

As for my running in, the mech at the bike shop told me that jus dont go over 90.. keep it between 80-90km/h during running in.. and change EO every 1000km.. But he didnt tell me abt the oil filter though.. issit a gd idea to change oil filter everytime you change EO?? lastly, i bought my bike at S1 Motors located at UBI.

 

Just checking with you guys... Is racing footrest legal?? how much does it cost? i want to change my gear shift as the back lever of the gear shift keeps getting stuck to my pants which sometimes is very dangerous.. as my gear suddenly instead of going up.. it goes down.. and i dont even use the back pedal of the gear shift..

 

To all fellow X1R riders.. Hope to join u guys for an outing one day.. but not at the moment.. im busy with work... have to wait till i ORD which is in 1 1/2 weeks time.. till then.. Ride safely dudez....

Bros...my X1R....after 1st service...changed to bigger tyres 80/80 front & 90/80 rear and lowered the front forks by 2'' and added a RacingBoy fork stabilizer.....damn siok on corners :)

 

The mechanic still making adjustments to the fork....

I'm using red bull cdi,not so good la,.as for fuel consumption just slightly,.... that is after tuning the carb.But i heard BRT cdi is much better..(Yet to try)Not cheap le...

For me,every 2500km i change engine oil(castrol fully sin. oil)and every 5000km change original oil filter.:angel:

I'm asking this question because i have been experienced sudden jerks when the throttle is in a certain position. Feels like suddenly no fuel like that. Carbs have never been touched before. This issue only surfaced recently. Bike has only 4700KM mileage.

Original CDI ???If after market CDI than be carefull.If original CDI than probably you have to bring back the bike to the bike shop which you bought from.Let them check first.My opinion,..its either electrical or the carb need setting/servicing.Anyway let them check first..
