u guys chg EO by urselves, u guys finished all the 3 servicings from HL is it?

 

Most or shld i say all of them?!?! go to their own motor diam or change themselve..

 

HL provide 2 free service... 1st one at 1000km n 2nd at 3000km..

 

the free service only mean free service.. eo and parts that u change during this 2 service will be charged...

 

If u wan to go down and service u need to make advance booking for slot.. can not just happy happy go down.. they wont entertain u.. and the avaliable slot is about 2 wks.. if lucky is abt 1wk and thats rarely happen..

 

down there they only use Shell EO for fully syn 15w50.. if u wan to change your own eo no problem.. can bring down but they will charge u $5 extra to dispose the old eo..

 

So troublesome and expensive who wan to go down?? But nvr the less.. they know your bike inside out..

Bro is 1st 2 free service.. at 1000km n 3000km.. standard change eo and see which 1 u wan.. all are charged.. only service fee is foc. It is not true nor false.. there are some really good mech and better then hl there in term of servicing yamaha bikes.. but there are also some really sucky 1..

 

HL mech are trained to handle all the yamaha bikes.. so technically they understand the bikes more.. and know how to open every thing up solve the problem.. they may know more but might not be skillfull

I called HL before & they are providing engine oil for these two services. Oil filter must be purchase on your own there. I'm not sure about what else they did during the service. But if you refer to the warranty package, it state that they'll providing lubricant services too during the service.

 

Maybe for a start, you would want to taste a professional touch by those mechanics that could "touching your heart".

They do provide eo for the 1 and 2 free.. but it is not fully syn.. for fully syn u nd to pay.. is advisable to use fully syn. They will check your tire air pressure.. your chain..etc.. alot of basic stuff..

for spark plug i using denso $20 ea but good lay.

Went to LAB during lunch time, very crowded. They have sell X1-R sport rim leh. 90 bucks,worth a not har? But i passby another tyre/rim wholesale shop, they said aftermarket X1-r rim not out yet leh, told me no need to search liao.

very standard.. always crowded.. x1r sport rim is the same as spark 1.. bro u got ask them wad brand?? maybe u can try B-plus they shld have carry it ask them for original yamaha sport rim.. check price first.. don jus buy.. when u change to sport rim i suggest u change to tubeless tire together as well.. irc tire not very reliable..
