i riding ver S my bike idling point is 800 but after riding sometime of riding it increase to 1.1 .....is this normal ? will the idling increase because engine getting hotter?

cold start 800-900rpm

after warm up 1.1-1.2k

ride for 30mins stop at redlight idling is still 1.1-1.2k

so can i say ur idling got abit of problem? o_O

 

is ur 800rpm already warm up?

it is normal. the idling will increase when the engine is properly warm up.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

it stay within the range leh... 1.1-1.2k

or it increase ABIT only? :cheeky:

 

think my idling too high. see so many of u set 800-1000 only

so at junction at gear 1 or neutral i rev a bit the rpm drop to nearly die or sometimes engine just dies off wat could be the problem?? my idling had been set to 1-1.2k but still happens. air intake reduced.

urs already increase. idling is set when the engine is properly warm up. 1200 is fine.

avg idling with light on should be wat?

Your intake manifold may be leaking. So, there could be excessive air going into the combustion chamber when you rev the throttle, thus weakening the petrol/air mixture, leadiing to the near dying situation of the engine. Get your mechanic to check and possibly a carburetor servicing is necessary.
