choke problem!!!

hi all, i'm currently riding an sp and my choke seen to hv problem. cos when i pull it up my rpm will drop or even engine stall. and it happen ytd after i wash my bike can anyone tell mi wat happen??? is it the choke spoil and how much it cost to repair???

Pulling up is On or Off? If its Off, the RPM will drop.

 

When the choke is on, what I notice is that it raises the RPM of the bike, so it makes the bike easier to start during cold weather, the minute you turn off the choke, the RPM will drop back, and if your engine is still cold, the bike will tend to stall.

 

This is based on my previous Mito. Well of course, if pulling your choke up means to turn it on, but your bike RPM drops instead or even stall, then I'm not sure what's the problem.

thanks for ur info oh btw for my bike pull up is 'on' and push it down is 'off'.

during cold start.. pull choke easier to start.

 

during warm engine.. pull choke = rpm drop/stall

 

forget to release choke long after start and travelling = engine stall when closing throttle.

 

this is my experience on my SP.. hope this is normal.

is not during warm engine, pulling of choke will stall the engine..

is when u try to accelerate the bike by throttle..

the mixture will be too rich.. therefore die off..

Yeap, i have this problem cos i forget to push in the choke
