Anyway, mym203, stuff like that can be done in Singapore, actually you can do anything in Singapore as long as you have money and a will to try.

 

As for the Maxxis tires, they are not bad, but they cost more then a standard setup of Michelin Gold Standard tires, but anyway, the choice of tires for the DNA is a little limited.

 

Actually here are a list of stupid ideas I had for my DNA, stuff I knew will never will materialise but I can dream can't I?

 

1) Emergency brake parachute with my face printed on it with a caption saying "tailgate me somemore!"

 

2) Speed camera/ redlight camera seeking missiles.

 

3) SMS activated self destruct system, just msg "OWNED" and the theft and the bike gets blown up.

 

4) Snorkel like those on jeeps, for river crossing in my DNA.

 

5) Modifying the helmet bay into a refrigerator for beers.

Braking brake pads. About 40bucks if we mass order. It should be 50 bucks.

been to Botak place yesterday, yea man it's kinda run-down. Anyway, the problem is not that the bike is run-down but....botak can't even sell it cuz he doesnt noe where the owner is. The bike been there for like 1 year according to him. :sweat:

Ya, I was a Barker boy, but it is a past I wish to forget. Anyway, the DNA at botaks if I remember belonged to a middle aged malay guy, I was there a year ago when he dumped it there and told Botak to sell it, if it it the same one, it should be black in colour.

lolz, i saw this 1 too, asked and it belong to the shop owner. He said he'll sell it for $3k.....:giddy:

 

$3k is kinda steep right? he said he changed the cdi, batt, higher handle bar, etc n overhaul engine already. any1 can advise?

3K sounds reasonable if it is in good condition, the shops tend to claim many things, unless he changed to a Malossi CDI then you will know the difference, as for engine overhaul, he can say it, but did he really do it?

 

Most of us here sold our DNA's for about 3K with GPR exhaust. So best to wait for a rider to sell his DNA.
