That's quite expensive....From Suzuki stockist, the belt cost is ~$65, the rollers are each$8 (6 required), Labour is more about $100?

 

I was just checking out online sources and in fact belts can be as cheap as $40 and rollers one set $20.

 

Anyone know if any shop accepts if you bring your own parts?

OEM belts may not be lasting.

I bought AN400 belt at $130 at KS Motor (jalan besar) then do at JB, as Guan Hoe quoted $190 to replace.

if bring ur own belt to Guan Hoe, labour cost should be $20-30 only, ask them first.

Ever went to a pure scooter shop nearby kakit bukit and kena chop $80 to replace the belt (so called 'open transmission cost').

Sorry,$200 was for EO,Transmission oil,plug,belt set + labour.

Update on this to share....AC motors quoted me $50 if BYO parts.

 

Will try Guan Hoe next....

Yeac AC motor seem charging minimum 50 now.. went to them to change ball bearing, asking for 50, go to shop near unique motorshop at kaki bukit, they will do it fro 25.
