120km/hr la. hahahahaha. i tot many pple say mod can go faster then how to go faster if 120 already not stable?

Original tank and Local tank makes not much diff. As what doc adyra said, the quality makes the difference.

 

Original tank are not easily rust compare to local tank. Petrol won't spill while hard braking on original tank while local tank, yes. In order to solve this spilling problems on local tank, use local tank cap or get an "O"ring dimension slightly smaller then the bottom side of the tank cap. Fix it on the bottom side of the cap and viola... now u see it, now u don't! It is as good as the original one.

Yoh everyone. I just change my tank and tank cap from lab (non-original). I realise that the inside of the tank is a rusty red color! Does that means its going to spoil the engine if it is really rusty? Does anyone know how much the original tank cost? And the fuel keeps spilling from the tank when braking hard, like what HyperSoul said, if change to original fuel cap got use, or its the tank problem. HyperSoul, if use O-ring, u got glue it to the cap or just put it there only. Thanks.

d O ring no need to glue ar just place it under e tank cap.

ic. thx. my fuel meter also not accurate liao, change to a new tank fuel float also to no valid. (the full tank only shows as a half tank on the meter.) I heard bent the float abit higher can liao, is it true? The float is the black hotdog shape thing right? Abit higher is bent by how much? Got anyone know?

Bro, is your meter original?

To know wheather it's original or not, you have to look closely at the edge or the rim of the meter. They have printed NS YA-0666-027 on it. If there isn't then it's not original.

 

No point if you change a new float but the meter is not original. You know lah local stuff! Where got accurate one....

 

I also have this problem but don't bother to fix it. Very tedious job lah! Mine are original meter but local tank and float. Anyway, I never fix this thing before. Sorry!

What I can say is original tank is competible with original tank cap and you can't use local one and local tank is competible with local tank cap. You can't use original one.

 

Eventhough you use rusty local tank it still doesn't effect your engine because at the fuel cork there is a filter. If you change it regularly I don't think the rust debris will go into your engine. You should've to worry about this. If there's rusts, it go into your carburator first. If your moving off is not smooth as before or while riding your bike jerk like no more fuel, then you know your carburator is dirty and need to be serviced. If you have to clean your carburator to often then you have to clean your air box or filter if any. If you don't use the air box, there are more likely sand or bigger dust particle might get through your carburator and to engine. This you should bare in mind.

i'm holding a 21 yrs old rxz.

 

fuel tank gauge spoilt... using 250 km mileage as a reminder for me to go JB pump full tank.

 

5 speed, made in japan bike. top speed tested 140 km/h... but think can still go up some more, but scared coz engine vibrating violently...

 

if unlucky, think whole of my f**king bike will explode on the kje... then i go up the car...

 

anyone got an pdf user or service manual for rxz?
