the only way is not to rely to much on your rear brake drum so that you dont have to keep on adjusting it. i have the habit like u too bro... used up the brake shoe every month... cost less then $15

Its the time of the year AGAIN! haiz... where cheapest to renew insurance ar? some shops really chop carrot sia. any rough gauge the premium for 21/m, 3 yrs exp, no claim before, fs plate rxz... 3rd party fire theft? was quoted $438 NTUC 3rd party only.

 

go to the insurance company straight. since your 21 i recommend you go for AXA bro. ntuc would be expensive. renewed my insurance recently 21, 1 yr exp = 10%NCD, no claim before 3rd party only $376... why go for third party fire and theft??

brake shoe costs S$15? is it original made in japan or local? cannot be every month change bah? Even despatch riders change their brake shoes every 6 months and last I check original made in japan OEM brake shoes costs $25 the new ones

IMHO third party fire and theft(TPFT) more safer since nowadays theft of motorcycles are becoming more and more common. And you would'nt know when mishaps can happen be it at open carpark or MSCP. I have a friend who took third party only and there was this unfortunate incident whereby an arsonist set fire to one of the bikes parked next to his at the MSCP (Bukit Batok incident) in the end lan lan suck thumb he regretted not taking TPFT

for that cheap price plus labour its for sure local bro. the compound very bad and sucks big time. despatch rider has a different riding habit as wat i had last time. but now i learned to rely more on my front brakes instead of the rear.

bukit batok or bukit panjang bro?? well it for sure depends on individual needs. if you are not parking your bike in a MSCP most of the time then i feel no point getting the TPFT. for theft you can always prevent it from happening.

Thanks for the info blurchaoz btw to each his own and I would recommend you to use OEM brake shoes it cost 10 bucks more but its better than local and lasts longer
