Hello all! I've just gotten myself a s/h rxz. So have decided to join u guys here!! =)

Anyways, currently my bike mostly all change back stock, except for the exhaust there. I always see the normal rxzs exhaust, but mine like e silencer there longer than usual. The shop salesman say, he check with lta, say its normal and approved. Bike shop also send for inspection and approved.

But the sound quite loud and super smokey sia. Does the brand of 2t affect how much smoke? or issit the 2t pump, pumping too much 2t den super smokey?

Thanks bros, newbie here! hahaha

To be old and wise, you must first be young and foolish.

What are the odds of having two punctures, on the same tyre, on separate occasions, in a 223km ride?:dozed:

bros ... how do i modify my rxz to run at least 160 kmh ? any tips of what parts to change or add ? thanks

to get 160km/h i think it is still possible to achieve even if ur bike is on stock setting. but if ur talking about getting from 0km/h- 160km/h in a shortest timing then you need to do up your block and pipe. that should be sufficient enuf bro..

is it true using sp carb enhance the pick up of rxz?

Quite true coz it'll introduce ur bike wif plenty of air to feed. And as u noe, more fresh cool air intake, better response. And also "better" fuel guzzling...

the last i ask for pricing in singapore is around $180 without tyres.

hehe... learned alot from my mentor abg a'an and abg pendek. but rarely play around nowdays cos im aiming to smoke this plate number FBD7616J if i meet him on the road. so rite now im intending to keep my bike really healthy in case i meet that guy who just drop gear beside me while my gf was the pillion and asleep at that point of time.

standard RXZ carb MIKUNI 26 is enuf to do the job.

Hi :)

@blurchaoz

Do RXZ's in Singapore have only 26mm carbs? Mine both have 28mm Mikunis, and that's stock.... because i bought a brand new one once and got the exact same 28mm one.

What size is SP carb? What is "SP" anyway? Excuse my lack of knowledge....

I was told that if i'd put a 36mm flat-barrel carb onto my Bulldozer along with the pipe i currently run (chamber) it would generate some 55-60 horses, enough for approx. 220+ km/h. The guy who told me used to be a race mechanic and just looked at my block to know....... i'd need a custom inlet though (the part where the carb connects to the reeds, i don't know the correct word in English).

But i am actually currently thinking of reverting to stock once i hit 100,000 kilometers..... these days i rarely go faster than 120 km/h due to high petrol prices.... and with stock block it takes one liter less per 100 kilometer with same riding style. I may keep it ported as is but revert to stock bore with 135cc. Liner change is cheap here. And the stock size pistons last longer too :)

Kind regards......

Yup! We got stock 26mm Mikuni carb on all our rxz over here... I think? Never really go ard, asking any Tom, **** & Harry, "excuse me, wat's ur carb size? 26mm or 28mm?". Hehehe... But yeah, we got a smaller 26mm stock carb... Tat's y S'pore rxz runs better mileage than Thai's... Hahaha...

"SP" actually means "Slow Poke". In my dictionary anyway... Hehehe... Just like "KR" = "Kentut Rebus"... Hahaha... Ehem... Anyway, on a serious note, I don't noe wat it stands for? It's just a 150cc sports bike from Honda ala Yamaha 150cc TZM ala Kawasaki 150cc KR. Mayb those "SP" riders who read tis can explain further...

To those sensitive riders, regarding the acronyms of the bikes mentioned, no puns intended ait? It's just for the sake of joking ard ait? Peace!!!:thumb:

Hi :)

Oh that explain why Singaporean RXZ meters go to 180 km/h and 12,000 rpm while Thai RXZ meters go to 200 km/h and 14,000 rpm :) But i can't complain about the fuel economy... stock RXZ can go (mine did!) 100 kilometers at 3 liters.... now, modified as it is, closer to 4-4 1/2 liters.

Still VERY good compared to that very thirsty Zundapp KS 175 that i had in Germany.... one has to own a gas station to support it, 10 liters per 100 km easily, bone stock...... no reeds, piston-port controlled only, no boost bottle..... and also with a 28mm Mikuni.

The VRR (150cc) has the same 28mm Mikuni carb as the RXZ.... i owned such bike for a short while (bought it only to get the rear disc brake set which i transferred to my second RXZ and then sold the VRR again). I don't know what carbs the other 150cc two-strokers here have... not so many around, Honda NSR 150, Kawasaki KRR, Yamaha VRR...... and that's pretty much it. Those are rare enough (except for VRR, plenty of them on the road).

Kind regards......

the reason why u haf to use the air filter for the keihin carb is because your carb cant fit into the airbox hose. btw the summon for using air filter cone for your bike is $200 if you're caught by TP.
