Not trying to scare you or anything. But 1 of the below could happened.

1. Car impounded,your license revoked,she cant take any driving test for X years.

2. Aunt get warning,you get demerit points and fine,she cant take any driving test for X years.

3. All get warning.But chances are slim.

 

Reason i said car getting impounded is because i knew of a case whereby A rides B's bike w/o license and got caught.B's bike got impounded and A couldn't take any driving test.But since its not your car,unlikely that will happened. But just in case, Stress to the TP IO that your aunt is in the dark about this whole matter so as not to implicate her.

 

Dont seek legal consult YET.Until you are told by the TP IO that you will be charged in court.As for pleading for leniency,of course you should do it.

Don't ever do this again if they give u warning, one of my friend got caught riding class 2 motor when he got only class 2A. Another friend also no 2B taking 2B lesson ride aprilia rs125 caught during night road block along serangoon road. Both cases got into big trouble.

 

Singapore Law are strict, offender will be dealt with the full blurt of the law. No excuses for breaking the law, not worth it.

Heard both cases all parties summoned to TP office and court case. Last heard from them is the penalty is $2000 fine, 2 years driving ban.

My friend got charged for this before.

 

The police officers will forward your offense to the Traffic Police.

If you can sought help from MP or some PAP high ranking staffs, might be able to settle it at Police Department without going to court.

Once it goes to court, it all depends on the judge.

 

1. Your friend will be charged for driving without license and insurance (License disqualification for all classes for 12 to 18 months & fines).

2. You will be charged for abetting her to drive without license & insurance (License disqualification for all classes for 12 to 18 months & fines).

3. Your aunty gets away with warning.

 

 

i got before but is bike, first time fine $2400 banned for 6mths 2nd time fine $1400 as have vaild reason banned 4mths .. i waited damn long for my court letter waited + ban ard 2 years , with or without lawyer dont make a different however my case is for bike, for car no idea if its the same.

Don't ever do this again if they give u warning, one of my friend got caught riding class 2 motor when he got only class 2A. Another friend also no 2B taking 2B lesson ride aprilia rs125 caught during night road block along serangoon road. Both cases got into big trouble.

 

Singapore Law are strict, offender will be dealt with the full blurt of the law. No excuses for breaking the law, not worth it.

 

I believe the law here exists not to protect and prevent but to suck your hard earned money. Anyway wanna train, go book circuit revision.
