Hi, anyone bought motorcycle insurance from Direct Asia before ?? How is their service and claiming ??

I've heard from shops, when a claim arise, there will be concerns. I hv no experience and hope never a need to claim. But care to share on this point?

I'm not sure why the shop would say that there would be concerns when a claim arises. The only thing I could possible think of would be if you were talking to a shop about a heavily modified bike? We cover lots of motorcyclists in Singapore and have settled claims no worries. And if your bike's modification is permitted by the Land Transport Authority, we can offer you cover and process the claim. But maybe if you were looking into a fully kitted out cafe racer...then it might be harder

I rather ask and find out more rather than rely on hearsay What I was told was, it is cheaper than most, but when there is a claim, the process is not as easy or smooth as other insurers. Thus the concern is raised to you.

 

I have had my previous insurance by DirectAsia and never had a claim, thus no personal experience. But when I change bike recently, and was told such, I had to be a little concern. I do not mod, I like my vehicles original, to avoid headaches.
