wat's next when a bikeshop close down?

Wondering if anyone can enlighten me. If I have bought a bike from a bike shop. Due to financial problem, the shop seems to be closing down. I still have installment to pay. But I left only 5 mths to clear. I asked and another shop told me that if the shop close down, even if u finish paying ur installment, u will not be able to sell or transfer the bike to another person or shop. Is that true? Then I was told that after u clear ur installment, u have to check with LTA whether the bike's loan is cleared anot and whether u can transfer the bike or sell the bike. Cos the shop will have to clear ur loan with the bank or loan company.

 

So maybe anyone can enlighten me wat is next?

wahaha.. my fren want to trade in his bike which still under installment. but other bike shops dun want take because the shop he bought they consider "blacklisted".
