If a bike is $12,000, would you prefer pay cash upfront? Or get a loan?

Calculated the difference for 3 year installment would be $1800 just for interest only.

I'm comparing between cash on hand versus interest fees.

What's your take on this?

All shops charge. It's additional money for them

you got that right, but nobody cares about the interest and stuff

No doubt playing cash upfront will be the best idea, but not everyone will have, example if the bike is $12,000, that kind of money on hand. In addition to the eagerness to own a bike, people will just pay the minimum amount of deposit, and settle the rest by high interest installments.

I heard some bike shops also offer 0% installment plan on cc...

DEPENDING on the card. some cards offer 36 months, but most only 1 to 2 years only. if price of bike is 12k na d get 24 months , how?? 500 a month. but if 1 year, 1k a month
