Bros wanting to bleed their brake fluids pls take note. Don be fooled by shops saying abs brakes system difficult to bleed n blah blah blah so cost will be more n such. It's complete bullshit. It's very straight forward bleeding n very fast. The clowns got it mixed up with CBS found in Honda bikes. Unique wanted to charge me $145 for replacing brake n clutch fluid. Hkl, $80. Cheapest was race works at $65. However I went to skudai to get it done. Rm75 using elf fluid dot 5.1. It's a 10 min job.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Gtr bros wanting to change Michelin pilot rd 3, pls take note. Ensure you get the 'B' version types as they are intended for heavier tourers like Gtr n Stx etc. getting the normal ones will cause violent 'headshake' from the bike above 190km/h. again some shops are completely unaware of this difference in the model.

Hi Bro...can tell whether GTR 1400 rear tire feed size 200 as the original is 190. Just bought 09 model

Size 200 can fit not a problem. But you will sit higher and if you have a aftermarket hugged you going to have a clearance issue.

Just curious why you want to fit a size 200, not much shops bring in anyway. The last know bike having a size 200 is the zx12.

Cheers

Tks Very Very Much for the info. Juz come back from Melaka, seem the bike is very hot till my right leg got burn (1st time ride GTR1400) Don't know why. At time touches 210 kmh (road clear). Anybody face the same problem? Ahh oso the indicator show the front battery tire is at low (need to replace new one) Do you how much it cost? And whether can go to any shop to replace?

How old is the bike? Did you do any radiator servicing or flushing of coolant?

If your bike is almost 5 years old the tire pressure monitor should be due time for change. You can go to Looi's motor for the change, they do have the spare tpm and computer to help you reset. If its less than 5 years old just ride and monitor the problem. Suggest you switch to other view instead of the tpm view. It helped the last time I had this problem.

Problem is you just can't change the battery of the tpm. You need to change the entire unit. Last I ordered online was US$120 excluding shipping. I don't know how much they will charge you.

Just came back from the JB store. Total cost for the bearings and seals (front and rear) is RM$310. Time to get there roughly 30mins or so. GPS much needed for first few times there.

But I can't believe the cost of the brake pads!! $300+rm for 1 side!!

'N'Evershine selling at $135 each side.

Anyone wants to order the pads from US?? We can share shipping cost.
