Yesterday went to Looi's motor to ask about the TPM and it cost about $300/- (never change coz have to wait for abt a month or so.) Then went to Unique at Kaki Bukit to change the tube valve and rear brake pad (EBD) total cost $120

EBC brake pads cost around $75. But I realize all aftermarket pads will eat ur disc. My disc looks badly eaten up now..

I would suggest you change back to original cos you disk will eat up faster than you can see...

Well the 1st owner already used the aftermarket brake pad. Abit eat up. Anyway tks for the info. Juz try out tis one if not good then I change back to the original one. Yesterday change back to original headlight bulb as the previous owner used 90/100 wat bulb. Afraid the headlight might burn out.

My pole light used to be LED, no problem at all. Now it's LED with blue strobe. As for my signal light, I used those silver coated bulb. No LED as I scare it will flash too fast like all those sports bike.. If put relay = no point changing to LED rite? Cos consume same power.

But changing the TPM battery needs some modifications. Not all bike shop would try. Care to share at which shop you did your modifications?

Read a couple of page back. I posted the Bridgeport installed after a broken original tire valve. If you want other brands please check the reliability issue . Cos someone ever posted in the forum having a broken valve.

Posts: 5 Replacing tire pressure sensor battery

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I needed to replace a front tire last week and had the low battery warning coming up. So, the sensor was removed, pulled apart (even though its not really supposed to be) and very gently I managed remove the battery which was surrounded in glue and physically connected to the battery somehow.

I replaced the battery which was a CR2032 3volt worth $4, glued it back in place and refitted the sensor and new tire.

I had real concerns that the sensor may have 'lost comms' with the bike electronics but no, it works like a charm!

Stuff paying Kawasaki the $450 I was quoted for a new sensor!!

So swapping the battery does work, just be careful when removing it from the sensor as the sensor is a little flimsy.
