Get e 2012 model bro then u can share e review with us hehe... Compare e price betw 2011 n 2012, if vast diff then its up to u to do e maths :) .. For insurance wise, it depends on age group.. Usually e otr price will include a comprehensive insurance (thats wat i got at loois) .. ZZR1400 is a beast man be it e old or new model :) ..

"ZZR1400 is a beast man be it e old or new model " :thumb: i like this sentence. haha. saving up. comprehensive sounds expensive in my age group. mid twenties. zzz. if i have the cash i would get the new one and share the reviews. unfortunately i am not a ah sia kia. haha. so probably will wait and save up first =)

cause used to ride an R1. but i heard zzr1400 is under sport tourer for insurance quotes, which is cheaper than sports bike like r1 or gixxers. is that true? sorry for all the noob questions. hehe. and how is the maintainece like? heard parts quite difficult to get and is ex. thats not really my concern cause i realllllllyyyy like that bike despite how others say its ugly :sian: well. as long as what the rider think right? hahaha. one man's poison may be another's meat =) cheers to all of you. have a happy sunday night!!!

Of course the ZZR1400 is a beast waiting to unlease the potential power by the new owner. Why pay for the older model if you can afford the newer versions. Most of us here are also working our butts of too. So I can understand how you feel.

Let's face a big fact here premiums of insurance is not going to drop regardless of what type of bike you ride. No forgetting we are at the mercy of some brainless scholars who can change policy like changing underwear. Who knows when they see the ZZR1400 the may change the category to superbike without even have the basic knowledge of bikes. FYI if you intend to get installment for your new bike you will be asked to pay for first party and with the age-group you mention it's going to be 4 digit type to be paid yearly even with NCD. FYI maintenance of big bikes are about the same, some parts are harder to come by as agents don't keep stock of them. Well there's always the internet and across the causeway for solution. In fact across the causeway the support for Kawasaki proofs to be 150% more than locally.

Cheers

Just sharing my opinion.

DOn't do that. They will quote you a big hole for it which i experienced cos they sometimes don't even know about bikes. In the end I went back to Looi's.

Alamak bro, no need to travel north often to get e bike, can go Malaysia for a short 2 day trip to camron, genting, frasier hill, bukit tinggi (alamak, its all twisty road i recommend lah bro hehe) to unleash e beast hehe.. Juz take me for example, i rode my Akira more in sg then up north.. Often only at 2nd link to top up petrol n im happy with it.. Doesn't mean got sports tourer muz everytime tour mah hehe..

I'm just answering in general. This is for those who wants to the Kawasaki as the insurance premium quoted from Looi's better than outside. For me I choose to renew it directly instead of going to Looi's and they gave me a better price.

Hi guys, just bought the tank cover from MotorWorld at S$150.. IMO it's cheaper compare to buying it at eBay.. Considering the gps mount which is being sold by Ridesaddon next.. :)

nsr 150 sp(FT1969Y)-feb'07 to may'08, CBR 400(FQ5720L)-may'08 to july'09, TA150(FT2661I)-mar'09 to jun'09, Wave110(FT7718R)- Jun'09 - Jan'10, TA200(FX2012E)- Jan'10-May'11, VTR SP1(FS4028Z) - Sept'09 - Jan'12, ZG1400 (FBE5831K)- Jan'12 to Oct'14, Suzuki Hayabusa - Oct'14 to ???
