I'm 1.67 about 55kg. I ride my kawa daily. The only problem I faced is reversing the bike while sitting (I did not purchase any lowering kits). Otherwise not much problem. Unless of course ur bike decided to take a nap (lay on the floor) I believe even if u are 1.8 and 80kg, u are still not able to lift it up by ur self..

hello guys..

tink my rear tire sensor batt going to die soon

maybe will change the batt in the next few weeks via the `unofficail` way...

if got any brothers wanna see it maybe can join me see see look look..

most prob will be buying the batt and ask unique motorsports at toh guan to `weld` it to the sensor..

the cost difference is a few bucks (batt) + man hours

vs

few hundered buck (whole sensor) + man hours + syncing w ECU

and long wait for nevershine

hence i decided to try try the cheap way.. lol...

I'm just answering in general. This is for those who wants to the Kawasaki as the insurance premium quoted from Looi's better than outside. For me I choose to renew it directly instead of going to Looi's and they gave me a better price.

just curiuos how much is urs??

i`m pay just slightly abv 1k for comprehensive..

lololol

Is it worth the effort to go through this? Furthermore welding or soldering to the battery may not be the solution. Read that the battery may cause interference to your other components. If your bike use for long distance then there's heat issue. If I'm not wrong there's a limit where the external battery can withstand.

I would rather spend the replacement and for the next 5 years ride with a piece of mind. You need not go to neversheet to do it. You can get it sync at Looi's too. That's just my personal opinion. FYI the tpm cost less than $150 inclusive of freight charges ordered online.

Cheers.

No need for lowering kit. I'm 1.7, both feet tip toe a little. But overall still comfortable.

Cheers.

How fast time flies n my mileage had reach 14000km.. Read in e pasts postings bout e engine "dies" off suddenly after warm up n while clutching in at low speed... Faced e same problem last wk n wat i did is to "tune" e idling to bout 900rpm.. Everything ok now.. Think it could b due to overtime vibrations that cud cause e idling gear knob to "loosen" by itself ? Juz wondering...

Try get it in between 1k & 1.5k. 900k is way to low. You may have problem riding especially cold morning. Bike may not be smooth. Had experienced it a couple when I set slightly below 1k.

Would suggest you change the air filter to a after market on. Cos the sotck air filter is a pain in the arse to change.

Meaning using after market air filter is much easier to service it ?

For me when I used knn I didn't have to take out and recharge often. So far I only recharge it once after 2.5 years of usage. It's more like savings over performance.

Had talked to the technical staff from knn USA when they were here many years ago, the advise they gave me was let the dust and dirt work to your advantage thus no need to clean it very often. He told me that their long term test bike air filter hadn't been for the last 100k.
