nextime I will stay behind and join the adventure of darkness.

Btw, I pumped exactly RM52 worth of fuel for the entire trip.

I put in RM92 but started with an empty tank in the morning.

ohh you almost got an close encounter with the oncoming when overtaking me....

scared me leh..

In Singapore, i know i will die for sure.

In Malaysia, i have faith in the malaysian vehicles. they are trained to watch out for fast going vehicles in the opposite lane

On my end, i have confidence in my bike and myself. Because firstly i ovetake only on straight road where i can see the incoming vehicles. Secondly if i cannot, i will not cheong and make impossible things possible

Guys, my bike has been passed on to the new owner. It has been the best 3 years of my riding experience ever.

I'm sure the new owner, Dennis will continue to take great care of Twinkle! Let him feel the Kawasaki spirit!

has anyone figured out how many clicks on the rear shock for a particular rider/pillion weight? and also the rebound n compression setting for the forks?

the manual only states that the factory settings is for a 60kg rider?!?!!?

w/o gear, helmet, boots, how many riders under 57kg rides a 300++kg bike?

Pillion + luggage? Just max out the preload then.

Aurium > Your GTR is fast enough already. Of course ZX14 is one notch faster, but really not by much. The trick is to go fast, but still keep a margin of safety.

Bro, is not about how many clicks ... is about what the sag when the rider or together with a pillion seating on it.

That is why GTR come standard with rear Preload adjuster.

You might get diff info, here is a little basic guidelines to help you.

First, adjust the sag for front and rear. The preload is responsible for the sag.

When rider on it, Front sag measures for fork travel is 3.5inches at the inverted forks inner tubes

and Rear sag measures from axle point to the tail is 2inches. Little + or - is ok.

Second, adjust compression for the suspension travel to assist the preload at the same time, especially the front section.

Springs and hydraulic should together, not to much of the other …

Lastly, adjust the rebound to coordinate the front and rear moving, make sure is not bounding up to fast.

Importantly to note is that hydraulic oil should not be overdue because the suspension changes its reactions as the oil get seasoned.

If you lost, you can do a Google, you will able to find some.

the sag comes from the weight of the rider+pillion

the stock setting has a prefix no. of clicks for a 60kg rider as stated in the manual.

there was a chart on the c14 forum but its prob covered under over 100 backlogged pages to browse.

it tells u specifically how many clicks per 2-5kg.

and also for the compression n rebound on the forks.

if u like it harder, quicker turn in, just deviate slightly from the suggested and it is pretty spot on according to the forum members.

Hi guys, anyone know where I can get used crankshaft and con-rod for my ride? I need new main & rod bearings and timing chain as well.

I own a 2nd/3rd hand bike and the crankshaft seem to have a slight bent which is somewhat catastrophic.

Needless to say I hope the 'used' crankshaft is A LOT BETTER and straighter than mine.

Thanks.
