Hi,

 

I am thinking of purchasing a used CBF 900 Hornet. I have asked my mechanic but he said it is not a good purchase as it is difficult to obtain spare parts and it is not a practical bike for commuting. He kept pushing the Honda ST1100 because that is his specialty. I hope to get some honest comments from people. Is it really true what he said - that the 900 hornet is not a worthy bike and not as reliable as other Honda makes? How difficult is it to find parts and does anyone have a mechanic that specializes in this model?
